I have been doing my cutting freehand for about a year, so I am reviewing from the lens of someone who couldn’t get a clean cut semi-consistently (I only successfully cut two bottles out of a dozen broken ones). The o-rings fit very well on standard bottles, and put enough pressure on the scoring area that I only need a single ring for cuts close to the neck. The gloves were tiny but I was still able to use them since I didn’t have any on hand. I haven’t tried it on smaller bottles but I assume I would need to use the hand tool still. I didn’t read the instructions as I have cut glass before, and I was able to get a clean cut within two tries! The included sandpaper was a little finer than I am used to, but I was already planning on using my own silicone sandpaper. I used this oil on my glass cutting blade and I was able to cut a shelf without issue. I think my blade just needed lubricant so it could glide and this oil did the trick. Now on to completing the remaining shelves she requested.
