I had seen lots of prong collar videos on u tube. Every video I watched from dog trainers recommended this Herm Sprenger brand prong collar for it's craftsmanship and quality of this product. Easy to put on too once you get the hang of it. They even emphasized how the rounded prong ends would not hurt your dog. I was a little skeptical that it would work for me as well as demonstrated from the professional dog trainers. I wanted to know exactly how to train my 40 pound dog using this collar. She was such a puller on the leash that my husband and I would cut our walks short. This collar is amazing! I fit it on her as instructed in the videos I had watched and ..... Here We Go.....I only gave a slight correction on the collar and wow I could hardly believe how my dog reacted with this collar on. It was not painful for her at all. She went right into heel position easily. A few light corrections along the way to let her know what I wanted and we were off on a super relaxing walk. Thanks Herm Springer for giving us and our dog the right training tool to walk our dog with confidence and comfort. Thanks Amazon for getting it to us a day ahead of the expected delivery date. I usually don't do many reviews but I want to let people know how this prong changed our walking routine.

Compre dos collares, uno L y otro M, para el macho y para la hembra que es más pequeña. El L es una maravilla para mi perro macho sin embargo la talla M se safa fácilmente, si la hembra se agita mucho se sueltan las eslabas, etc. recomiendo la talla L aún y si tienes un perro más pequeño, solo quítale las eslabas para ajustarlo al tamaño del cuello de tu perro. Pero definitivamente la talla M no la recomiendo ni la volvería a comprar.

This collar is a game changer for me!! Should have ordered one sooner. I use this on my 7 month old St. Berdoodle who weighs 80 lbs. He is St. Bernard Dtandard poodle mix. I have arthritis and bad knees. He is somewhat leash reactive and has almost pulled me down several times. What was I thinking when I got him?! Anyway, on the advice of a friend, I bought this collar! I also bought the licking clip, since with my arthritis is is too hard to swerve the prongs to get it open. From the minute I put this on Bernie, he stayed by my side. Walked at a heel, sat on command and was just generally a more obedient pup. It is now a pleasure to walk him! I will be able to get him out more to socialize him. It just takes a quick flick if the wrist to make a correction. The collar does not hurt the dog, only applies even pressure on the neck to get his attention. Make sure and follow directions to measure his neck to get the correct size. Also put the collar high up on the neck, under the ears where they have the most muscle. I'm so happy!
