Anasept Skin and Wound Antiseptic - 15 Oz Bottle with Dispensing Cap - Bottle

This stuff is amazing. I hope they keep making it. Been doing wound care for years and then saw a UCSF wound specialist who recommended this and it works great. I could give you a long list of other things tried, but the list is too long. According to the patient this also does not sting or hurt.

I was so thrilled to find this product available on Amazon. Extensive wound care maintenance at home without home health care is at the top of my priority list these days. The wound care doctor was using a prescription-only product called SOMA that had been discontinued at the time a prescription for it was provided to us. I turned to Internet searches to find a similar product that kills the same bacteria as SOMA, figuring we would ask the doctor for a revised prescription. I found Anasept and read a study that was available online. Then I found Anasept on Amazon and ordered it. So far, so good - the wounds are making good progress in healing. I ordered two bottles, then ordered three more to have enough for the six week healing estimate. I also learned through all of my research that Hydrogen Peroxide does not kill bacteria so Anasept will become my new go-to product for cleaning nicks and cuts as well!

A wound care MD ordered this for my patient. He wasn't healing until this was used. I started seeing the wound respond within 2 months. I now carry it all the time as a home care nurse, now. Even buy it myself since my company doesn't supply it. But it is the best wound cleanser around. It kills Fungus MRSA, strep and staph infections, and helps gently dry a soupy wound up. And it does not sting ....great product.

Good product, no sting on application or later. Pricy but worth it.

I work as a wound care nurse @ an 93-bed facility. My admin won't purchase this stuff because they don't want to pay for it. Well, I used this at my previous facility and it is great! It works on de-colonizing wounds, doesn't sting, and it is safe for wounds. It doesn't have the cell toxicity of Dakin's but works just as well! I love it so much, I use m own money to purchase this product to use on my patients. Since I started buying it and using it, my wounds looks 100% better and most have progressed to closure much quicker.

This is used in hospitals and I was happy that it visibly helped with bad wound.

Best wound care product on market.will use till my wound closed. Two wound care clinics in my area use it thats how I found out about product.going on my 3rd bottle.

This is the best wound wash that I have ever used. I have a chronic foot wound that will never completely heal. Occasionally it opens up and gets infected. My foot is extremely sensitive but this wash doesn't sting. It also allows my open wound to close faster and heals faster. I will always have this on hand and my doctor is now recommending it as well.
