I have received compliments on it. You can see through it during the day when the curtains in that room are open, but I didn't put it up for privacy. I just didn't want the distraction of all the clutter stored in that room to be too obvious. The length also makes it convenient for my two cats to go in and out, since they are indoor cats and that room is pretty much their room. If only it were a tad bit wider, it would be perfect. I can't help but stare at it.It did came uncut though and the product pictured wasn't clear if it was supposed to come cut or was i supposed to do, so i asked on the amazon and someone else actually got theirs already cut so oh well mine was prob just missed. It had the sealed for trimming so i just had to cut in middle :PAt first i hesitate from the purchase because it's width is longer than my doorway... but figure to just put it on the doorway itself with M3 hook and a dowel. it works. : )You can see from the picture in various lightng.
