Would this work on salon shears?

To be completely honest, I haven't tried using the scissor jig yet. But I cannot see why it wouldn't work on salon shears.Sorry I don't have a better answer.

Does this jig also work on the T8 sharpener?

Yes, the SVX-150 does work on the Tormek T-8 machine.

can I use this to sharpen my pet grooming scissors?

The Tormek Scissors jig will sharpen any scissors with excellent results with the exception of scissors made to thin hair or that are serrated. Any scissors with a smooth cutting edge can be sharpened using the jig.

can it sharpen embroidery scissors?

THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH SCISSORS WHICH HAVE A STRAIGHT EDGE.
