How well does this hold up over time? I’m looking to redo my kitchen countertops cheaply

If you want to decorate your kitchen countertops, don't buy this wallpaper.Because I don't want the same lesson to happen to another person.When I received the goods the moment, the disappointment in my heart can not hide.It was redder than the picture and did not look like real wood at all.And it has poor viscosity, and it is not waterproof and does not put oil.I put it on my dining room table and in the kitchen. The wallpaper on the dining room table became wrinkled and faded after wipe,just less than a week. The wallpaper on the kitchen table lasted only a day and could not be touched again.I'm really disappointed, wasting my money！

How long does the smell last? I just opened it and it's overwhelming

I have it on a table in my living room and I don't smell it at all. I do agree, when you first open it up it was a gross smell.

Has anyone used this to wrap a beam to give it a wood look?

No, don't buy it, The color is not what the picture describes, I have bought the wood wallpaper from another store, this paper looks completely fake. Does Not look real wood at all.

Could this be used on a dining room table?

Probably better to refinish a wood dining table. I used it on a plant stand on my porch. I wanted something that was waterproof. It might look fake on a dining table.
