The ROBERTS 3000 multi-purpose carpet and sheet vinyl adhesive is a solvent-free, standard-grade latex based flooring adhesive. Formulated for big contract jobs where price and performance matter most. Use for the installation of mineral or felt backed sheet vinyl, unfinished cork underlayment, latex foam-backed, needle-punched, jute and polypropylene secondary backed carpets. Proper substrates include plywood of underlayment quality, terrazzo, marble, sound-resilient floors which are free of wax and embossing, and concrete subfloors

A: No, Roberts 3000 is specifically warranted for interior / controlled environments.  You may want to consider Roberts 6700 for the exterior installation of carpet or turf.

A: Yes, 3000 is designed for Residential wall to wall carpet and feltback vinyl sheet applications. Roberts 3085 is designed with hearty bond strength characteristics for Commercial application of wall to wall and patterned carpets.

**Q: Can i use this to reattach the backing of a runner that has twill edging and a mesh backing? If not do you have a product?**
A: No, Roberts 3000 is not recommended for this project application. However, you may want to consider Roberts 8015 to re-attach rug backing and prevent edge unraveling.
