A: The beads range from 1.25 to 2 inches.

**Q: Do the strings have a long plastic or wooden coating on the end to make threading the beads much easier?**
A: Plastic coating makes threading the beads much easier

**Q: Does the box come with a lid for storage?**
A: NO it is an open small wooden crate.  We use a tin box for ours!

**Q: what do you use so the beans don't fall off the end?**
A: You actually tie a knot in the string. Once it is tied, it is large enough to keep all of the items on without falling off.
