Review: Amazing Staple Fish Food for Community Aquarium - If you have small tropical community fish, look no further for the perfect fish food. I've went through several types of fish food prior to trying these and couldn't be happier. I have a mix of barbs, danios, and an apisto in my tank and they absolutely go crazy for these pellets. These don't cloud up the water and sink somewhat quickly on their own giving fish an opportunity to pick at them at the surface and on the way down as they sink slowly. If you have smaller fish or juveniles, all you have to do is crush some of these up in between your fingers to create tiny little bite size pieces for them. This is my staple fish food that I feed once daily and haven't had any issues. No water cloudiness or ammonia spikes. Highly recommend.
Review: Best slow-sinking micro pellets - Perfect size for my Japanese rice fish and can be ground into a finer dust for fry. Fish seem to like the taste and a little goes a long way. Sinks slowly and doesn't gunk up the filter.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the expiration date for the micro pellets?**
A: Usually about 1 to 2 years out.

**Q: Is there an user manual?**
A: Back of bag has instructions.

**Q: what does semi floting mean??**
A: It means that it will float for a few seconds, before getting saturated with water and sinking to the bottom. From my experience, they float for about 10-15 seconds before the vast majority of them sink to the bottom.

**Q: i have pellets for the fish i own, but they appear to be to big.. so could i use goldfish flakes for a mountain minnow?**
A: Do u have these the micro pellets? Or the standard size? My neon tetras tends to nibble the micro pellets putting them in their mouth and spitting them out a few times before eating a whole micro pellet. I also suggest getting a tiny spoon (something like a 1/8th tsp)to measure out how much ur feeding especially If u are still seeing a lot of food at the bottom of the tank. Mountain minnows don’t get very big so a pinch of food depending on ur hands might be way to much. If u still don’t feel ur fish are eating yes you could use flakes. The reasons not to are they r extra messy and depending on ur set up ur fish might not come to the surface for them so they just get pulled directly into the filtration system. Best of luck
