Brocraft Transducer Arm Mount + Universal Fishfinder Mount

Good Stuff!Way to go if you want to install a transducer and fish finder without drill a big hole into bottom of kayak!Also provides excellent mobility, you can take the stuff from its base and hit the road !Surprised no one ever left a product review!The one thing I wish it could be better is the transducer mounting plate, wish it could be provide more direction options, right now it is only facing outside which can be problematic if you have a big transducer (may impact fluid dynamic of your kayak and maybe tangle with line)

Being able to move out of the way when launching boat.

It does the job as described. However, on the end of the mounting arm where the transducer is to be mounted. You will need a piece of metal or plastic L bracket or 90° piece to mount the transducer correctly. I don't know why this piece is not included. As it is designed, the transducer would have to be mounted sideways . Which is not going to work. It is possible that that piece was not included in the original packing that I received. Just FYI, you will need this L bracket.

Was super excited how easy this product was to install and use. Unfortunately after roughly using it 8-10 times the knuckle that holds the lower bar failed. The nut had stripped out of the plastic housing and just spins so it can’t adjust or lossen/ tighten.

Worked great ! easy on/off great for a kayak.

Works great on my kayak

Works well but I modified the transducer mount as it is designed to face away from the Kayak leaving the transducer exposed to rocks in shallow water. Two new holes drilled and moved the plate and it works perfect for my needs.Transducer now faces to the rear with the extension arm in front to take the brunt of any contact with rocks.

This product gets the job done but there are many other products out there that are way better quality that will not take up as much space on your kayak.
