At what distances can these mesh with one another? I am wanting connect two of them line of site at apprx. 120 yds.

I have one connected at about 100 yards with the included antennas and it is stable at about 50mbit up and down. I also have one at 150 yards with a directional antenna and about the same throughput, but it was unstable with the included antennas.

I am running ethernet cable to this device. Does it need 110 power as well?

You need 110v is you don't have a PoE enabled (Power Over Ethernet) switch. If no PoE, it comes with a 110v PoE "injector" that acts as the power source for the device. So, any way it will work. BTW these are AWESOME devices!

Can it be used without ethernet connection - picking up signal from another unit which is eth-connected?

Basically yes. Using the Unifi software to control it, most of the Ubiquiti devices work very well in a MESH configuration. The only point about the "Ethernet" connection is - this is how it gets Power (Power over Ethernet). It does not need to be connected to the 1000Mb/s switch, as you can use the PoE injector power supply. I have one Ubiquiti lite (flying saucer) upstairs, and one of these devices downstairs, PoE only, and they connect over MESH WiFi. Hope that helps~!
