Would the mini jambox fit in this case? the dimensions are 6"x1"x2.28"

Yes. Mine fits and it's 7x 2x2.5

Will this fit for the soundlink mini ii special edition?

Jeff, I have the same case and my Bose Mini II fits perfectly. A must-get case. Don

Will this work with the Bose silicone case?

Don't have the silicone case on my speaker, but there is about 1/2" clearance all the way around. Plus case has a little give to it, so it might work.
