These were just what I was looking for . The extra fine nib is much finer than the extra fine brass nib my Hongdian M2 came with , making it better for writing in my pocket notebook and getting fine details . They still have good flow and not scratchy . I also think the color makes my pen stand out more . Recommend

Try the black EF!
I have two Hongdian M2s, one the brass in F and the other matte black in M. The M was too wet and broad for everyday use, so I wanted to buy a replacement nib to try (the black nibs) the EF in it instead. I typically don’t like really fine pens and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but WOW. I absolutely love this nib. I have bigger name brand fountain pens and even fountain pens I’ve spent over $100 on, but the black EF nib is by far my favorite nib to write with. I always come back to it. The line is perfect and it’s a such a smooth writer. There’s just enough feedback, without being too scratchy. I’m tempted to see if it will fit my 1862 because I prefer the full sized body of that pen, but I hate the nib on it lol.
