Pool

By mere chance, came upon Porches here on Amazon thanks to Amazon's recommendation and I liked them right off the bat because of their elegant Electronica. I really liked the sound but also Aaron Maine's voice. Both detached and ethereal. It's a rare singing voice in comparison to others out there. And yes I make comparisons.And after listening to Underwater for days on Spotify I was convinced. While their music sounds great it continues to have longevity and ages well. If you are into Electronica music you should totally get Pool by Porches. Absolute wonders: Underwater, Shape, Braid, Shaver, Mood, Be Apart, Hour, and Security.

This is a nice mixture of solid songwriting and deft electronica touches. Interestingly, the CD has no track listing anywhere on the packaging, unless there was a booklet attached that I didn't receive with my copy. So using Amazon's track listing, I have to say that Be Apart, Glow, and Car are my favorite cuts on the album. Very pleasant and thoughtful album.

Excellent album! My first album by this group! The songs have that retro 80's vibe and I'm hooked! My 14 year old actually got my into this group. I can't wait to discover more of their music!
