GREAT airpump. Powers over 10 tanks ranging in sizes from 5 gallon to 55 gallon; probably over 300 total gallons with manifolds at less than half power. No issues. Sure, it gets warm but not hot or unsafe. Very tolerable hum. Doesn't bother us; we put it on a thick sheet of foam and no issues.

Picked up the 1000GPH version for our koi pond after our old plastic pump housing finally cracked from sitting outside through a couple winters. Wanted something that wasn't going to fall apart the same way, aluminum housing was the main selling point for me here over the usual cheap plastic ones you see at this price. Runs noticeably quieter than I expected for something rated commercial, we've got it sitting maybe ten feet from where we eat on the patio and you really have to listen for it. Aeration output seems solid too, the surface of the pond has that nice constant ripple now instead of the sluggish bubbling we had before, and the fish seem more active honestly. Been running it about a month straight, 24/7, no overheating issues even sitting out in direct sun most of the day. Setup was basically plug and play, just ran the tubing out to our airstone and it was going within a few minutes. Only thing I'd flag is the power cord is a bit shorter than I'd like, ended up needing an outdoor extension cord since our outlet isn't close enough, worth checking your setup before ordering if your pump's going to be far from power. Solid, durable pump for the price, would go up a size if we ever expand the pond.

They claim this will do 1700+ GPM (the smaller one in the picture) im very skeptical. I've attached pictures of my Vivosun 1427/GPM (the bigger one in the picture) And this thing is a fraction of the size. That being said, it works fine. I don't know the longevity of it. Or the exact output but it is pushing 24 two by four stones right now. Im only worried about how long it will last. Honestly, for the price I would stick with the trusted vivosun. They cost practically the same and is clearly bigger.

Great product, I have one already that ive been using 24hrs a day 365 days a yr for the last 3 yrs in my pond and its never skipped a beat. I bought another just to have for a spare. Highly recommend

I was very hesitant to buy this pump because of the reviews but I needed more air for my fish room and didn’t want to spend 300.00 on a name brand. I thought I would give this pump a try anyway knowing I could send it back if not happy. Y fish room is on the main floor of my house by my bedroom. The report says it’s so loud it can’t be used. I have it sitting on a piece of yoga mat and only hear a hum. The reports say it gets to hot to be safe mine I could lay my hand on I wouldn’t keep it there long but not that hot. I gave it 4 stars because I wish it had more air pressure I’m running 12 tanks with sponge filters but I’m not sure I could add more which was my intention.
