Does this kit work with the Osprey Hydraulics 2.5 liter reservoir?

It didn't work with my Rev 1.5.. I sent it back

Is this necessary or are you able to clean it with something else? Another brand?

I really like the cleaning brushes, they help you get into corners. The hanger to me seems upside down. That being said I would think another brand would work too.

Does this come with any kind of Cary bag for the kit?

Yes, it comes with a mesh bag that everything fits in, and you can hang to dry the kit supplies in.

What are the dimensions of the part which goes inside the bladder? Length, width,& thickness?

it fits the both my Camelback and Osprey bladders perfectly. It squeezes to fit and keep the bladders open to drain any remaining water
