I have been using this regularly since 2012 or 2013 and it is working fine so many years later. The wheel can make it heavier (S- stronger) or lighter (W- weaker) and the mechanism is still working properly. But be aware that you can only adjust it in general Heavy/Light steps, you will not be able to set precise weight. But as an auxiliary exercise or a substitute for stress ball, it works well. It has helped me increase my grip strength, so much so that during a routine fitness test, the nurse asked me to perform the grip strength test three times to make sure that their calibrated instrument was indeed right. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but anything that can last more than a decade is worth the money.
