Excellent quality
I must say that this product is excellet. Why? It was sent in a box that is strong and dent-proof. The measurements are precise. Predrilled 4 holes so it was ready for installation. I must also thank to delivery, on time and with care (this time Amazon delivery was made by our local Usps). Yes, it is stainless steel and can hold magnets. Just what i was looking for. A little bit pricey thoughโฆ

Wonderful!
Just purchased a stove that doesnโt have the part in the back that is above the burners. My current tile backsplash showed so I needed something to cover the gap. I didnโt even know these existed until now. WOW! This is perfect since itโs designed for behind a stove. Very sturdy and installed in a minute. I bought stainless steel screws for installation. Looks fantastic with my stainless steel stove. Matches beautifully and clean up is a breeze! Highly recommend this item.

Good backsplash for the price
I received this order awhile back and we got around to hanging it tonight. We pulled out the stove and had the liquid nails ready to go. The product comes with a thick white plastic covering the side that will face out. I peeled back each corner near the screw holes in order to avoid unnecessary fingerprints while installing it. (Hint: Do not do this. Peel it all off first.) So we dry hung it, marked the holes, and drilled pilot holes. Then we liquid glued the back, hung it, and I held it in place while my husband drilled it in. So, excited for the reveal, we removed the white plastic and immediately noticed a deep black scratch near the top. (Thus my hint of peel off the plastic first.) We quickly tried rubbing the scratch off but it was embedded. No idea what it is, but the white plastic had a black backing, so I think it may have been scratched in? Fortunately, the liquid glue wasn't on its A game, so we unscrewed it, pulled it off the wall, and flipped the piece. The scratch is covered by the stove now. Others have noted this thing isn't precisely 30 inches. True story. We have about a quarter inch of wall on each side, and our space is exactly 30 inches from one cupboard to the next. So...this may bother you, it may not. I haven't determined if this bothers me yet. I think it'll be one of those house things that you notice when you DIY but no one else really notices or is just nice enough not to mention. Overall, I'd say this is a decent backsplash for the price. Other places I looked has similar items in the same size for more than twice the price. And its certainly an easy piece to hang. Even with having to flip the piece over, it took us maybe 20 minutes.

Temporary Backsplash That Gets The Job Done
After getting new appliances, the oven we chose didnโt have any kind of backsplash. Since weโll eventually put in tile, we decided on this for an oven backsplash. It was actually thicker than I thought it would be after reading some reviews. Iโd have to agree with other reviewers that screws should have been provided. I didnโt have any issues wit bent corners or scratches. It came packaged like a painting. I did go out and buy some drywall anchors and screws (#10 or 3/16โ). After peeling only the corners of the protective film, I put it where I wanted and with the help of another person, marked the screw holes. I will have to say that doing this BEFORE the installation of the stove would have made this a whole lot easier. As it was I had to pull the oven out because the backsplash extended below the back of the oven. I did run into the issue of putting it as high as I could that made drilling and then screwing in the screws a little difficult (drill clearance). Initially I left the screws a little loose so I could have a little maneuvering room while installing the screws (a two person job, unless youโre putting on some kind of adhesive). Unless you are below eye level of the microwave you donโt even see the screws. After I tightened all the screws I removed the protective film. If youโre using only adhesive, Iโd make sure youโre hold it as pulling off the film made the backsplash bow. If I didnโt use wall anchors I can see it pulling out of the wall. Overall it didnโt take that long to install. I like the finished look as it matches the other appliances.

Great customer service, nice product
The packaging of this product was excellent -- it's a thin piece of sheet metal and so it is easy to crease or scratch. Nevertheless the first splashguard had a small scratch on it. I reported it and within one day, my account had been credited for the (free) return and a replacement was sent. I had contacted the sellers to be sure the splashguard was black ,since the picture was white, and they wrote me back immediately assuring me it was black (it was). I'm super happy with the customer service and felt they deserved a good review. We installed it behind the stove and under the range hood in a place that had previously been occupied by an "over the range" microwave oven. The wall there had been bruised and dented in the removal process. This splashguard fits perfectly under the Broan range hood and seamlessly flows from hood to range. It looks great, and saved us from having to patch and paint the wall!

Perfect Solution!
This review is for the Broan-NuTone SP3604 Backsplash Range Hood Wall Shield for Kitchen, Stainless Steel, 24" x 36": After getting a new range, I needed a new back splash. WALA! Found this one! It perfectly matches the range hood I got (at the local home-improvement store). The 36" x 24" worked out well. We installed the back splash first and didn't use the top mounting screws (sold separately), since a range hood covered it. To answer some frequent inquiries I've seen: Yes, it can be drilled through -- we drilled pilot holes, then used self-drilling screws (bottom only). No, the double-sided tape won't hold it up long term, but held long enough to keep it place while we finished the mounting process. And yes, it can be cut -- lay flat on plywood, use a dremel tool with a saw blade for metal (okay, stock up -- we used more than one!), and take your time; results are worth it! And finally, yes, it IS magnetic. (Pic included -- notice the light switch notch we had to cut, and the hanging kitchen utensils!) Would buy again; hope I don't have to! :)

Nice Plain Stainless
I'm very happy with this. I wanted a simple stainless backsplash. My wife wanted something with a pattern. Since I'm the cook and cleaner, I don't want textured surface to clean. Plus what we saw were all stick-ons. I'm thinking sooner or later stick-ons fall off from the harsh environment over the stove. And the ones that don't fall off ruin the drywall when you need to remove them. I installed this with screws only. It lays reasonably flat against the wall. I might put a micro bead of caulk around the edges to prevent any water getting behind from a large splash or while cleaning. I didn't want to glue or caulk behind it in case I want to remove it without destroying it. Installation tips at the end of the review. I was worried about shipping but this came well packed. Even though I bought this as Amazon Prime, I believe Amazon drop shipped this one from NuTone. It came in a heavy flat cardboard box but the box was thoroughly fiberglass strapped to a sheet of Masonite board larger than the box on all sides. The Masonite had chipped edges and corners but the product box was unscathed as was the actual sheet. The good side had protective film and the non-filmed side looked pretty good but brushed a little more coarsely. Not sure why they call this 'reversible'. The 'good side' was finished identically as my NuTone hood. Mine is magnetic. Neodymium magnets stick very strongly. Regular magnets stick ok too. Tips... Check the wall first and scrape off any imperfections that might prevent the sheet from laying flat. Leave protective film on. Take your time and drill your holes carefully. I held in place and marked all holes. Then I drilled one top hole and installed the drywall anchor. I held the sheet up again and installed the one screw and rechecked the other top hole location. Remove, drill, repeat. I rechecked the fit and my marks before drilling each hole. Drill bits tend to wander in drywall so I used a tiny pilot bit first. You want these holes PERFECT. If the screws bind with the holes on the backsplash, the sheet will not lay flat when you get all 4 in. #8 screws are recommended but I used #6 stainless screws and washers to give me a little more leeway. When you are finally ready to screw it down, peel back the film only at each corner. Screw it down and don't crank the screws hard at all. Just very gently snug. Now peel the film off. Be careful, it's stuck pretty good so peel at a low angle to not accidentally pull/bend the sheet away from the wall. Press down on the sheet as you peel just in case. If you have some gaps to the wall, squeeze a drop of calk under it and tape down till dry. I don't recommend applying glue or caulk to the back prior to installing. You will surely bend the material and ruin the drywall if you ever need to remove this for some reason.

Great seller
Package and product were damaged by the shipper. They immediately dealt with the issue. So pleased with this vendor. It is perfect for when the stove is right up against a wall.

Shipped twice with defective product.
The 1st time, the item was shipped in a huge box but the metal sheet was bended. We thought it can be happened and asked for a replacement. After received the 2nd shipment, once we have pulled the metal sheet out from the packaging, we have immediate found a visible dent. Even Amazon has offered a almost no question asked return policy. But it's a waste of time for us to have the items carried to the post twice.
