Maddog Padded Paintball & Airsoft Chest and Back Protector - Black Protective Vest for Kids and Adults

Bought this for paintball, and it worked great. It was comfortable to wear, easy to adjust, and provided good protection without feeling bulky or restricting movement. It held up well, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some extra padding while playing.

I bought this and when it arrived I thought it didn't fit until I looked more it has velcro straps that are very helpful I am very exited to use this vest in paintball 5 stars

This item paid for itself in spades. It is tight fitting and a bit on the small side for me. To give you an idea of the size, im 130 lbs and 5'9". It was somewhat annoying to have to tug it down in between matches, but it didn't restrict my movement much as the foam is pretty flexible. When i first opened it i thought it was a bit small for me and it was thin enough to make me question how much protection it was really going to provide. Well, i had my answer when i got lit up by five opposing players simultaneously. I caught at least a dozen paintballs in the back and a good six in the chest, and the rest of my body took the bulk of the barrage, however, i was impressed with the way i was able to feel the impacts but not the stinging pain that usually accompanies getting shot with a paintball. As i said this item is a bit small for me. Personally, i need something that has this level of protection and flexibility, but made to fit an adult, and that is the only fault i can find with this. It performed so well that i will continue to use it until i change my gear setup again. It is worth noting that i wore this under a tactical vest, so i'm not going to comment on its breatheability other than to say that i did find myself unstrapping one side of it during breaks to ventilate my torso. Other than that, it arrived on time, performed better than i expected it to and at the end of the day i was very pleased with it. It would probably fit best on someone in their early teens who is on the slim or skinny side. For the price, if you're on a budget, this would be a good buy.

I bought this for my son. He's an average sized kid. It fits him well and protected him very well through several days of paintball camp. It might fit smaller adults. Im 6'2" and 225 lbs. It will cover my chest and back but is too short to cover my stomach.

I used the vest for paintball. Take it from me, when paintballing, never leave home without it!

First chest protector...didn't want to play paintball without one. I have seen many with bruises and welts on their bodies...no thanks. The first time I used this chest protector I got hit with a auto clocker mid range in the middle of the chest. Didn't feel the hit to the point I didn't know that I got hit until I was hit in the mask on the following shot. No bruises, no welts. My friend and I both bought and wore these vests multiple times now and have had no issues with them. They are easy to clean...you can hose then down in the shower (the paint just automatically comes off) or you can put them in a front loader washing machine which is what I have done and then hang dry and they come out pristine and clean as when they were brand new. The Velcro holds tight, never had to adjust the velcro during play time or throughout the day. I have had to pull down the vest as sometimes it will creep upward toward shoulders exposing your stomach, but you just quickly pull it down. This has happened to both of us. But, it could be the clothing we are wearing underneath which is a Empire Paintball Jersey that has a smooth rather than cotton fabric texture. The vest covers chest, back and stomach. It works great for both men and women and even 10+ year olds. It doesn't cover your sides, but that is then made up for by your arm, so your arm will be hit rather than the side of your chest unless you have your arm completely up in the air which shouldn't happen unless you are walking out surrendering because you were already hit. I did noticed that even on the product image it states Maddog Padded Chest Protector, but you actually receive the Chest Protector with the words ZephYr across the chest not Maddog.

I bought this for myself to play paintball while I'd love to give it a higher rating, my biggest complaint is that its just not long enough. Its seems well made and it definitely held up to a day of outdoor, in the woods, all out paintball war, but the darn thing rode up so much that I lost protection in the front and back. When I put it on, it ended up stopping just above my hips (I'm 5'3 with a pretty short torso) so if I were a pretty young adult, this would be ideal, but for an adult just be aware you'll need to figure out some extra protection. Other than that, it was a good buy for the price.

The Maddog Chest Protector did not look like it would fit when I received it. It's supposed to adjust to fit multiple sizes but it did not look up to the task. But appearances can be deceiving! The vest was indeed a true stretch and fit type and I was able to get it set up to my liking in no time. It's also easy to take on and off, and with its elastic velcro belt band you could easily slip in an airsoft type pad, adjust the velcro, and have double the impact protection from airsoft rounds! So its a good deal for me and good value for the money.

Excelent, but for my kid too big... it is for an adult. Otherwise it is a good product fir this price.

Really hot in summer time, just keep that in ming, but great product
