Vive Transfer Sling - Padded Assist Gait Belt - Heavy Duty Patient Lift

This thing is AWESOME! It makes moving my wife into and out of her wheelchair a whole lot easier! I'm 71 and have been having a hard time safely transferring her from her wheelchair to the bed or commode. This makes it very easy. She's on the heavy side and a gait belt just isn't enough, but this transfer sling just works. I can help her to get up and pivot to get her where she needs to be. I wish I had gotten it a couple of years ago.

This is a very sturdy good quality item to help pick up a person who has fallen and cant get up. Very comfortable and easy to use

I’m not the strongest person in the world, but I can easily get my husband up with this sling! The multiple grip handles are amazing! It’s very durable and I know I’m not going to drop him! I love that it has the rubber grips on the inside. An added safety measure that keeps him from sliding.

Makes transfer much easier!

This review is going to mention a condition related to a disability, as it is used for that condition. I have a syndrome that causes my joints to dislocate easily, and is so severe it has left me unable to use my shoulders. It also causes me to fall often. I literally have no way to get up off the floor if I fall, because I can't use my arms to get up in fear of dislocation. This belt is the answer of my dreams. My husband sits me up, put the belt behind me, and just gently leans back, allowing the motion to help me lift myself up off the floor. It is safe for me, as it is extra wide so it distributes the weight along my back instead of my joints, so no dislocations. It is a safe way for my husband to lift me and not get hurt. I have had no complaints about this belt. No slipping, no pressure spots, etc. I love this medical supply company as well. I have purchased many items from them and will continue to do such, as their products are high quality.

Quality is good. A little awkward to use until you and patient figure it out. It was helpful for transfer from sit to stand or side to side.

Works great for helping my mother get up and assist her to walk

One of the most useful things I’ve gotten to help with my elderly mother. She likes it because it gives her support to lift herself up and it doesn’t cause her pain while we use it. I like it because it doesn’t cause me any strain or pain and I can help her get up when she’s sitting. It’s also very sturdy and easy to use.

When my wife got stuck and difficult this is a very useful bit of kit to get them up, good for the car , obviously it’s a great assist for the patient if your strong enough to use it and the length of the handles protect your back. I have used it with no injuries to help my relative.
