I spent a while looking for small gold watches, for a girl with miniature wrists. Having found this one in a high street store I was all set to buy it as a birthday present, before finding it literally half price on amazon. Both me and my girlfriend are chuffed with the watch, it looks very dainty even on small wrists, the strap is well made and the diamond-esque pieces around the face look classy rather than tacky.
