Great product!

Bought these shears to use for cutting bait and general fishing tasks. They are very sharp and cut squid easily. Sharp enough to cut mono with no problem and can even cut braid, which is notoriously tricky for many clippers. I use them to cut up small baitfish like bunker and sunfish, these shears can handle the tough stuff. I noticed a little bit of flexing in the plastic handles when cutting deep into whole fish, but the sharpness of the blades can overcome the toughest bait.

I really like this for cutting bait and braided line. Since these come apart dont grab by just one handle. I did that and it swag open cause the other handle to fall off into the water. Bought a second pair bc they work much better that a knife and cutting board on the boat.

I bought this shear with the main purpose of bait cutting. A bait knife works, but scissor give you more control with your cut. Build quality is quite noticeable out of the package.. It feels good in hand. I've use this to cut up green crabs when Tautog fishing. This is also a helpful tool when you are cleaning fish. It can cutup most small-medium size fish without any issues. The built-in fish scaling edge is handy. So far they have held up great. Always make sure to wash it down after a fishing trip especially if you do saltwater fishing. I've bought one two years ago which just broke but they have been used in salt water to cut all my line, bait, and to clean/gut my fish. I forget to rinse them off maybe 25% of the time. Bought another pair a year ago for backup still going strong. They are the most rust resistant out of all the brands I've tried but they do still rust, I see discoloration after a week and rust after another but I live near the ocean so everything rusts and also my fault because I also occasionally forget to rinse the salt water off. My only problem is they do get rusty inside under the handle and that is where my first pair snapped.

I use to cut thru fish gills, carcass bones as I fillet. Scissors are very sharp and have a thinner profile to get into tighter small areas. More powerful shears than expected

These scissors are very well made and sharp. They work great for cutting up crabs and bait. Liked them so much I bought a second pair to have for when I lose my first pair because I honestly can’t see those ones breaking.

I’ve used a few pairs and these are by far the best. They break down for easy cleaning and are rust resistant. The only improvement could be the handle. It can be a bit tight at times.

Great to use on boat!

I have gone through countless so called heavy duty scissors, I use the heavy duty ones generally for cutting poultry and fish. Most scissors last a little while and then give up. I bought this Cuda scissors because I already owned a few Cuda products and am happy with them. This product does not look as solid as I would wish but I have yet to put it through the paces. Will give another review after a year or so if it lasts that long.
