Bought to store my contact lenses in due to having a slightly different prescription between my left and right eye, the 2 compartments are now labeled with my prescription and which eye.I can't comment on how water tight the lid is but the container itself seems pretty solid with a decent size gasket around the lid with 2 latches that seem to clamp down pretty tight.

Poor quality. It s great for dry food but if you put some cooked food it will be a mess everywhere. I like the appearance and the fact that it has 2 spaces where you can put the food but only dry food. And the silicone seal is also bad, it fell easily and you need to push it and press it with force to stay where it belongs. Not very happy about my purchase.

Use this for dry foods!Storage size: This may help if you are thinking of using this for nuts / dried fruits etc: one compartment can take one bag of 200g mixed nuts, or approx 300g of dried fruits (tried with apricots and figs). A word of caution, though the box is sealed perfectly as a whole unit, it is not sealed completely between the two compartments (probably explains the leaks in some other reviews), also if you use this for both nuts and dried fruits, the nuts won't stay crunchy…I bought the smaller version of 350ml, both sizes have the same L and W, as lids have the same size, just height changes.

The listing was clear about sizes etc so was fairly confident this would meet my needs, and it does. I use it for snacks for my son to take to school - raw carrot, cherry tomatoes, celery etc.

As others have said this container has a design flaw that the rubber seal is ineffective because and leaves a gap between the box and the lid. I bought six of these as an upgrade from disposable containers and had to return these, very annoying because for the price you would expect a working product.
