Love these knives! Greatest set I've owned by far, which is saying something. The shipper really made sure to package this in bubble wrap and the original boxing. The only negative I would say to anyone interested is to do your research as there was no manual or anything showing how to take care of these knives. I've seen from some reviewers that the knives are not dish washer safe!!! This is true!! My wife accidentally put 1 into the dishwasher and afterwards..there was a small halo on the tip of the knife where it seems it's already staining the blade. Other then that, this set is great!!

I'm not a knife snob but have friends who are. They would go on about how bad these are missing the point. For $40 this is a decent set that is doing fine replacing the 10 year old pretty terrible starter knife set it replaces while I'm stuck living with a friend during lockdown. You can certainly spend anywhere from a little more to a ton more for various measures of 'better' but for someone who just wants to cook with decent knives these work just fine. They look good, get the job done and don't break the bank.A set like this already has the guy I'm rooming with wondering what a better knife 'feels' like, but like I said he was using a pretty bad farberware set that were mostly dull, so as a gift for him this was a pretty nice step up. I do have a decent chef's knife myself (nothing crazy, like a $70 knife) but he leaves stuff in the sink and what not so yeah, I keep that out of his hands.

Gifting this for my mother in law for Christmas! She loves to cook but she always uses the knives from Walmart and has to buy new ones once those dull. They have a very good feel and as someone who has cooked in a restaurant before I LOVE the chef knife. I also like that it comes with a sharpener to keep the knives sharp. I know she will love these and that they will last a long time. Glad I purchased. The reviews were not wrong! Wood is beautiful.

This knife set is a STEAL! They are sharp, easy to clean and hold, and are very stylish. Maybe it’s because I’ve worked with dull, low quality knives for so long, but you honestly don’t have to use hardly any effort to cut. I chop onions with ease and even had to cut through large cuts of chuck roast with little effort and clean slices. Plus, it’s so affordable! I would highly recommend this product. I’ve had these for months, and they are still as good as first day I got them!

I bought these because I’ve never owned a legit knife block set. Always had numerous amounts of mix matched knives. These definitely live up to expectation though! Box was a little beat up when it arrived however it didn’t damage anything inside. Used a few times immediately wash & dried & they’re still in perfect condition.

Great set of knives , this is my first set and so excited that I have them in my new kitchen . They wash well , love that there are all organized and all different of sizes . They cut great , and very nice sturdy . Yes I would definitely recommend them

A good selection of knives which include a 8" (chef, slicking, bread), 7" santoku, 5" utility, 3.5" paring Knife, six x 4 1/2" steak knifes, an 8" sharpening steel, and kitchen scissors. The wooden block is sturdy and looks great with my butcher block worktop.The knives are sharp and haven't shown any signs of rust spots - which my old set was suffering from. They're also lightweight which allows for finer control yet still feel sturdy. I will update this review should anything change. So far, so good!

I wanted a decent set of budget knives having moved into a new place with very little and decided on these. What a set of knives for the price. They look, feel and cut like a set of knives FAR more expensive. My new flatmate (does all the cooking) thinks they are an expensive set and I haven't corrected him. He loves them. They are super sharp and they sharpen well also. Wash great with no water stains. I left one in the sink of water and forgot about it for 24hours and it came out fine with no water/rust marks. Also the knife block hold them well and looks the part. A great purchase.

All my knifes were blunt and past help so decided to get a new set, this caught my eye having alo the sharpener and scissors too , the block is solid pine looks lovely and also you have your steak knives , the knives are well made and really solid too the handles are a good weight these are so sharp they sliced through meat yesterday like butter!, very good quality and built to last as well as neatly stored in the pine base, this looks great in my kitchen as a knife for everything here love it a good price for so many too recommend this set happy chopping!

This was purchased to replace some aging laser knives. It came well packaged and each knife safely covered up in the box, with the larger ones having a plastic tip on them too.It's a good, well varied set and you can pretty well arrange them in the block as you see fit.Each knife feels sturdy and well balanced. They are not too heavy, but still have a solid feel.Cutting is good - they are very sharp currently. It will take some time to see how long that lasts, but it seems good from initial impressions so very happy with this purchase

Product arrived in good time and was as good as it looked in the pictures. A really smart set and knife lock that looks the part in the kitchen.Was happy with the verity of knifes from stake to a chef knife and even comes with a sharpener and scissors.I did the tomato test and the knife cut through with ease. All knives were very Sharp and very easy to hold, I didn't slip at all even when cutting through chicken. They're also not heavy so my arm didn't ache after cutting for long periods.The knives are easy to clean with normal soap and water. There was no mention of being dishwasher safe so have only washed by hand.Very happy with my purchase.
