Well I put a lot of oil so I kept on slipping but once I dry off the excess it worked perfectly fine.

While lubricating my treadmill belt, the applicator fell off the bottle of silicone, spilling all over the treadmill and the floor. What a mess! The applicator separated and fell right off the cap!!! Why?! This is exactly what it is made for! I have contacted Spot On directly and am hoping for good customer service. Will report back. I have since upgraded to 5 stars. This stuff is GREAT! Unfortunately the manufacturer never got back to me, which is sad and disappointing. I since contacted the Seller (Ever Clever Products), whom immediately got back to me and is re-sending a new bottle plus 2 new applicators. I couldn't be more thrilled. NOTE: I figured out WHY the applicator came off. It arrives secured onto a separate cap, which you replace with the one on the bottle. The applicator tube was not completely screwed into the black cap. Once I did this, I had no issues. MORAL of the story: Check that the applicator is tightened all the way into the black cap!!
