"DC Ok" is a normally open contact that is closed if the power supply is ok. You can use this signal to determine if something is wrong with the supply (or if there's a short circuit on the load side), but you don't have to use this feature.

Please confirm that the model is mdr-60-24. your picture shows model mdr-60-12.

I received an MDR-60-24 like the title says, I think it's just a generic pic. Mine also works great, no issues at all. Hope that helps!

I'm getting a high-pitch whine whenever i attach 120v to the hot and neutral and only 1.5v out of the top rail. any idea why this would be happening?

We’d like to check that you may have overlooked this: Switch mode power supplies are different than the old linear designs, they require a resistive or inductive load connected to the output of the power supply at all times or they will not produce voltage. In your case, 10% of 60 watts is 6 watts and that’s the minimum load that your supply needs just to fire up and get out of hiccup mode (flashing LED). https://www.jameco.com/Jameco/workshop/techtip/power-supply-hiccup-mode.html Please try your supply again connected to a load and let me know if you run into any difficulty, give me a call or write us back.
