Uvex Honeywell Stealth Safety Goggles with Clear treme Anti-Fog Lens, Gray Body & Neoprene Headband (S3960C), Universal

I bought these goggles in 2018 to specifically use with a wood chipper; they did an outstanding job. I had cataract surgery last fall and wanted to protect my eyes on most every occasion on this often windy farm from dust and debris when: doing very dusty farm work; when cutting our large lawn; when using chain saws in the woods to protect against sawdust and also to protect my eyes from branch and vine "slapping"; when using grinders/sharpening tools, not only in the grinding/sharpening process, but also in using the grinder brushes to clean debris and rust from blades and tools before sharping and/or painting them; and, finally, to protect against water/soap/bleach sprays when clean vinyl building doors, siding and trim . These are simply very good, tough and durable goggles; they can be worn comfortably for hours--they don't fog or rub or irritate. I have perfect confidence that they will protect my eyes under all conditions when worn.

I bought them in case of someone coughing during this virus problem. It's easy to wipe this lens more than others because the lens doesn't fit in a groove. I see some people complaining but I think they are using these goggles for purposes that they were not intended.These goggles are made more to stop liquid splash than gas. They can be worn comfortably for longer periods than my last pair because it's soft rubber. I can wear my glasses but there is a bit of a gap on the side it's no problem. Anti-fog does not mean Fog-proof so they will fog if there is high humidity such as when you were watching The Titanic (admit it, you cried) but normally they don't fog in. The top vent is designed so if there is liquid splash it won't seep down into the goggles. My other goggles have regular vents on top so if I get a liquid Splash it will drain right down inside. They are lightweight, well made and probably very good for medical type stuff if for instance you are an EMT and you're dealing with fluid splashes this could be good. Good bottom vents. Well gotta go, trying to type with one finger while petting a cat who won't leave me alone has been a bit to do.

Perfect shape and easy to use

Soy cirujano y estos goggles son bastante buenos, cómodos te cubren de las salpicaduras, hasta el momento no se han empañado, pero cuando los utilizo con lentes (son de marco grande, de pasta y caben) son los lentes los que se empañan por lo que recomiendo ponerles algún tratamiento antiempañante, los adquirí por seguridad y por el tema del COVID, ya que en quirófano a veces hay salpicones indeseados, cabe mencionar que NO SON COMPLETAMENTE HERMÉTICOS ya que tienen ventilación indirecta, aquellos que busquen goggles como protección para COVID será complicado encontrar goggles de seguridad 100% herméticos, sería más fácil conseguir goggles de natación herméticos, que goggles UVEX, 3M, solid works etc... Ya que todos estos cuentan con ventilación, si desean un Producto 100% hermético lo que podría resultar útil son googles de natación (que también los he utilizado y no son para nada mala opción) o las mascarillas completas, pero eso de poner un SEP hacer una traqueos o procedimientos quirúrgicos/médicos con la mascarilla completa tendrá sus retos, se que es una preocupación valida el contagio aéreo a través de las mucosas de los ojos, pero considerando que la vía por dispersión aérea y aspiración es el principal mecanismo de transmision e infección, el uso de goggles y un respirador elastomerico media cara con filtros HEPA ambos 3M han resultado una protección mínimamente decente para el hospital. De favor gente exponganse lo mínimo.
