COFIT Detachable Bike Basket, Multi-Purpose Bicycle Handlebar Basket for Pet, Shopping, Commuter, Camping and Outdoor

Sometimes when you buy something, you find the manufacturer has included a variety of details that indicate this is a quality product. The mounting bracket for this basket is made to fit 3 different sizes of handlebars. The half moon shims/spacers that come with it to fill the spaces for the 2 smaller sizes have locating pins that fit into the bracket itself, making it a lot easier to keep the shims in place when fitting the 2 parts of the bracket around the handlebars. And the pins on the shims fit snugly into the bracket pieces, which means someone in the R&D department realized how much easier it would be to attach the bracket to the handlebars with 2 hands instead of 4. Nice touch there. The assembly kit also came with an Allen wrench to tighten the screws down. While I have a set of Allen wrenches, providing the one that was needed was a nice touch. And there's an adjustment screw on the bracket that lets you modify the angle of the bracket (and subsequently, the basket), and it uses the same Allen wrench. The adjustment screw has an acorn nut on it so the bolt end doesn't contact the paint or plating on the bicycle bracket for the handlebars, but the polished, rounded head of the acorn nut does. My wife has only been using this about a week, so we don't know how it will last in the long run, but if the little details I mentioned above are any indication, it should be good for a long time. Another thing I noticed was how easy the basket attaches and detaches from the bracket. There's a sliding button that appears to be pretty sturdy that pushes a decent sized tooth into the attaching bracket on the basket, and appears to be a solid and innovative design. NOTE: This is a soft basket with an aluminum frame and handles on it (like a picnic basket). If you want a basket that's rigid, this isn't that kind.

I was very pleased with my purchase of this bike! It is the perfect size, and it was extremely easy to put on my bike. I love that you can detach it and use it as a shopping, picnic , or even pet basket. It is easily able to be removed and reattached when needed, and it can be conveniently collapsed to save storage space when not being used. The handles are really sturdy and the fabric on the basket seems to be very easy to clean and it is also very sturdy. It does include a water bottle holder on the side, which is also really convenient. It came with a very nice basket cover to keep it clean or dry when needed as well. I was very pleased with how great this product is, especially for a decent price. I will definitely keep the COFIT brand in mind while buying other bike accessories.

We purchased one of these baskets for a family friend in 12/2020 and liked it so much when we saw it, we order 3 more for our use in 2/2021. They have worked flawlessly and are so easy to put on and take off, and hold a lot. Love that they can collapse/fold and be easily stored and that they can be taken into a store to use as a small shopping basket. As for the customer service excellence, I had one mount basket holder tab pair break off recently, rendering it inoperable. I found the company's website, but couldn't find the bracket to reorder. I emailed them to ask for purchase availability and they promptly replied and asked for a few pictures. Even though the purchase was almost 2 1/2 years ago, they indicated they would send me a replacement. I assumed that meant a replacement of the portion of the bracket that had broken; however, I came home yesterday to find a full brand new basket and bracket that was shipped by Amazon at no cost to me! I was very surprised and very appreciative since they certainly didn't have to do that and I certainly was willing to buy a full replacement set if that is what it took. So awesome, and so glad that I'm back in business...and I still have the extra basket as a backup. HIGHLY recommend this product, particularly at this price point, and was so impressed with this customer service!

Overall a great product. Fits quite a bit. Easy to install and easy to detach to carry your stuff by hand. It is awesome when riding out to the beach or swinging to the nearby store for a quick item. It allows me to pack enough for myself, and my daughter, since I can’t wear a back pack with my daughter in her bike seat. I also use it for a shopping basket at the store. Feels a little flimsy at times, when loaded to full capacity, but seems solid enough (the attachment device is a strong plastic composite). Only some minor issues to be noted. 1) When it is fully loaded it can mess with your steering a little, and you have to make sure you bike is balanced on the kick stand when you park it because it can tip your bike over if you’re not paying attention. 2) The bracket that attaches the basket to the bike tends to slide off center on the basket making it pull a little more to one side (but easy to readjust). Even with these minor issues I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again. I hope it holds up because it makes me look so cool! 😂(not actually possible unfortunately!)

I brought the bike basket as a gamble since the description says that it wasn't compatible with e-bikes. However, after a bit of an adjustment, I managed to get the basket attached to my bike. However, since it was not made for my specific e-bike (which has a black bit in the middle to adjust the angle of my handlebars) by adding the bike basket attachment to the center of the handlebar prevented the mechanism on my bike that allows the handle from being fully locked in place. But, this wasn't a major issue since it locked enough that the handle bars were roughly staying in place. It is an extremely convenient bike basket that I use when I go grocery shopping. With a push on the slider bar, I can easily detach the basket which can be brought into the store and filled before being reattached to the bike. It is slightly harder to lock the basket back onto the bike after filling it with groceries though it might just be an issue I faced since my handlebar has to be at a specific angle to fit the basket. After using the bike basket for around a year, the bike basket has been holding up pretty well except for the bottom of the basket which is slightly worn out and tearing. It is not entirely the fault of the quality of the basket since my bike was rubbing on the bottom of the basket which caused it slightly tear. However, the problem was easily resolved with some duct tape. Overall it's a pretty good basket that works exactly like how it's described.

This basket is a perfect addition to my bike. I bought this so I could take my dog on rides. He loves it! It was easy to install.

Super easy to install. Good quality. My dog loves it!! Only wish it were a bit deeper and a little wider but overall this is definitely a good buy. If your dog likes to stand I say just be very careful, mine almost tipped over because he was constantly trying to stand up— which is why I wish it were a little deeper. I love the added pockets! There’s one inside and outside, as well as two water bottle holders on the sides.

I liked the size and function but unfortunately had to return as the handle bar attachment was not adjustable to work with my e-bike screen.

El montaje muy sencillo y el sistema de anclar y desanclar muy comodo. El acabado de los materiales parece duradero y bastante bien.

The basket was very easy to install, unfortunately I broke the holding part myself by accident and snapped off the plastic pieces at the top preventing it from locking in which is why there's no pictures of that part or pictures of it on my bike. My bad! The basket itself is wonderful, it has handles as seen in the photo and can hold a nice amount of stuff taking the nuisance of a backpack/sweaty back away. I believe it's waterproof but haven't tested yet. The holder is sturdy and when I tested it before the accident it could take the weight of two 2 litre bottles possibly more. I don't have a dog but by the pictures people put dogs in the basket. I liked that you can lock the basket into place with a switch as well. As pictured it came with several plastic parts for adjusting to your bike handles for a perfect fit and a bottom screw to hold it in place preventing tilt. The holder part is very easy to install just requiring an Allen key which came with it and four screws; It wasn't so fiddly and done within a few minutes. Overall a great basket for a bike and when walking in a shop or to a picnic.

Il cestino per bici COFIT è molto leggero ma resistente e si installa in pochissimi minuti. E' capiente quando installato e scompare quando tolto dalla bici. E' molto comodo perchè può essere utilizzato per portarlo al seguito nei negozi e poi inserirlo con un semplice clik sulla bici. L'ho utilizzo ogni giorno in campeggio. Funzionale ed utile anche il telo fornito per proteggerlo dalla pioggia. Ottimo acquisto.

金属のものは錆びると知っているのと、取り外して買い物の手提げとしても使える点が便利で購入。 写真は折りたたみ自転車に取り付けたものだが、サイズ的にはピッタリ。 また、サイドには飲み物や傘が入るポケットも付いており、畳めばコンパクトにもなる。 自転車はキャプテンスタッグのFDB166への取り付けで安定性も特に問題なし。いい買い物ができたと思う。
