The colors are true, they are blacklight reactive, but they aren’t very pigmented in that they don’t print vivid colorful photos that are visible in the blacklight. It looks very faded on the page. These inks won’t show up as fluorescent if they are added to your existing printer ink, they must be used on their own. I tried using them in my printer, but mainly put these in empty watercolor pens to use in my art. Using them over gellyroll soufflé pens creates a very nice fluorescent effect. The white is a true blacklight reactive white, which is unique. The magenta initially looks blue and “develops” into the magenta/pink. On some types of paper, it never does develop. My guess is that this is when some sort of fluorescent pigment is used in the paper to make it brighter. If you are just looking for a security blacklight reactive ink, this will do the trick, but if you’re looking to print vivid fluorescent images, this will miss the mark.

The inks work great in my printer. You download their very small program or just adjust the image yourself by inverting it and changing the hue to 140, it prints invisible. With a *good* UV light (florescent or LED with a 365 nanometer filter, not the type with the clear lens) it lights up with very vivid color. Also important is to use paper that won't glow under the uv light. If being used with a lower quality UV light it's not as vivid, but still visible. Added pictures of it being used on Astro-Brights Eclipse black paper, under a LED/UV light with 365nm filter. The contrast is amazing. Very highly recommend.
