Horrible New Recipe!
I bought this product several months ago and was pleased with the flavour... But alas the recipe has changed! The main ingredient is now Maltodextrin, which gives the product a nasty, artificially sweet taste, leaving my three-bean chilli taste like a cheap can of baked beans!

Should be called SALT n SUGAR not Fajita mix
I do not know why I did not see the main ingredient was SALT with SUGAR also in the first ingredients. The who reason I love to cook spicy, flavour rich food is to find a healthy alternative to salt and sugar for me and my family. As soon as I saw the ingredients I returned and so did not taste it - instead found a lovely all natural authentic fajita mix both salt and sugar free also reasonably priced and healthy - lesson learned for me to always carefully check online ingredients even though sometimes you need to go to the product home website to find them. I wish manufacturers would try harder to give us the taste we like which is healthy as those who like salt can always add it, but those who do not like salt or who cannot eat salt cannot take it out of products. Thanks Amazon for being so understanding about my realising this product was not suitable for me.

Excessive Salt - Inedible
I thought this was the same as Schwartz Fajita powder that you get in a sachet and thought I'd save money with it. Absolutely not and a costly mistake. This is absolutely laden with salt, 32.8% to be precise. Imagine that, filling this container a third full of salt before anything else. A little into our meal and we had to stop. I checked the label because the excessive saltiness. If you'd dipped them in the Red Sea they couldn't be saltier. The sachets contains less than 10% salt, so definitely not the same thing. A waste of money and it's already in the bin (next to the barely eaten fajitas). How can I allow my family to eat this? It should come with a health warning. My young twin boys didn't want them either, and they're mad on fajitas. It was quite upsetting for them as they really look forward to their fajitas, and that, in turn, upset me.
