I bought this on a whim while I was on leave; I had flown to New Jersey to spend 2 weeks with the gal I was dating then. I needed a bag and I hadn't packed one, and it seemed like a decent enough wannabe military-style replica or something, fit the whims of my early 20s.That was 2017. In nine years, I've used this bag without restraint, for groceries, books, and any errand I've needed. I don't drive, so it's been nine years of hiking and biking in any weather you can imagine save tornadoes, and let me tell you this bag doesn't care. I had some cutlery stab a hole in the bottom of the bag some 5 years back, and the patch hasn't budged, either.The zipper pulls haven't survived, but it turns out keyrings are a cheap upgrade, and the zippers themselves haven't aged an hour. The web cloth straps are starting to tear, but I can easily see another 5 years in their life without repairs the way they've been going. The leather straps are mostly decorative, but the buckles are still adjustable, and the magnet snaps are honestly brilliant since the whole thing is for a rain flap.The backpack secures at the opening with a canvas drawstring and leather cinch, which lets the canvas relax to a lower profile while the bag is emptier, and also allows the full space of the pack to be filled to brim, which I've personally found useful for packs and cases of soda and beer.The outer pouches are brilliant- they're spacious and functional. The zipper placement isn't ideal, but it allows them to function as a bottle holder or holster any other small object too large to fully enclose. There's also 3 small zippered pockets: one on the back left side, a flap pouch under the opening, and another on the inside of the main pocket, located on the outside of a very convenient velcro pouch. There's also a pouch on the inside of the back for documents or folders, replete with a velcro fastened elastic strap for redeundancy.This bag has functional storage for almost any object smaller than a microwave, and the canvas, leather, and cloth web have held up to nine years of abuse, but hey, the look isn't for everyone.

Bought this backpack for college because I enjoy rucksacks with lots of pockets. I am relieved to tell you that yes, this bad boy has many pockets.After using it for 3 semesters. I can say it has slight wear. For example one of the internal pockets now has a hole. And the magnetic locks have came loose on occasions.But for what its worth its a great backpack. Doesn't hurt your shoulders as much. It can even fit my brick of a laptop to school. You can stuff a waterbottle on the sides if you are determined enough. Lots of compartments for pens, highlighters, small staples, and calculators.So take what you can for its price and use.

EDIT:While I had issues with the zippers looking at all the other reviews it sounds like many are happy, to top it off Bluboon took it upon themselves to reach out and remedy the situation. I can say that they have stellar customer service and are very proactive. I am now totally satisfied with the way things have turned out. Also from the manufacturer they have changed the zipper on that bag and the new ones should be making their way to warehouses now.Original Review:I'd love to give this bag great reviews, it looks great has tons of pockets, is comfortable and fits everything I want. Unfortunately 3 days into using it and the front pocket zipper is already busted, 3 out of 4 times closing it the zipper splits open. Now I know there are some home remedies to try but this bag is three days old.The other spot I'm concerned about is the magnet snaps, they feel very loose already. Either way I am sending it back. I think I might risk ordering another and if so will update this review in a few weeks accordingly.EDIT: 3/4/16Changing from 2 to 1 star.Well the replacement came yesterday and the first thing I did was test the front pocket zipper. Short of holding both pieces perfectly line up it has the exact same problem as the first. This went from a bag I was really excited about to one that just won't work. I'm just really disappointed. This had all the making of a great bag at an amazing price.

We were super happy with this bag when it first arrived. We were surprised by the amount of pockets and storage space it has, and the materials seemed really strong and durable. Also, we really liked the style, design, and functionality of the bag, as well as the price! We purchased the backpack about two months ago, for our daughter who was going into 8th grade. She wanted a stylish black drawstring bag that was also strong and durable enough to hold her textbooks, notebooks, binder, and occasionally her laptop, as well as her pens and pencils of course, and a bottle of water. The backpack has plenty of space to hold everything she needs and we haven't had any complaints about it until a few weeks ago, when we noticed that the stitching at the bottom of the arm strap was starting to come loose for some reason. Now, only about 2 months after buying it, the arm strap has completely come off and it is very difficult for my daughter to use the backpack. :'(We really wanted to give this bag a 5 star review, and we're really disappointed that we couldn't, but a backpack like this should last much longer than just a couple of weeks without falling apart. I've seen other reviews regarding the durability of this product and I'm really hoping to hear back from the seller regarding a quick and speedy resolution to this.

Great item

I lost my last backpack on the train and I needed a new one quick for my trip to Thailand. Not only did it come quickly but I love the look and style and durability of it! The green looks almost army like and there is plenty of room for all of your belongings. There's is a laptop compartment in the big part as well as a small zipper pocket and velcro medium sized compartment. All that closes with a string closure and magnetic belts. The front has a zipper pocket and both sides have smaller zipper pockets, all this helps to keep your things organized. I may be buying another grey bag because I couldn't choose which color and wouldn't mind another bag!

The bag is amazing. It came on time. I love the style and it is very functional. Even though this is a men's and I have really tiny baby girl arms, this adjusts to fit me perfectly. It's a really good material that's sturdy. It doesn't stretch even when it's full. The pockets are awesome and the bag can hold a lot. It fits my iPad, lunchbox, water bottle, a couple textbooks, and a few other books and things. If you're lazy like me and don't like buckling the straps over the top, you can just walk around like that and nothing falls out. It's great if you are in a hurry and don't have time to fumble with the straps. I love it and I'm taking it with me on vacation this summer.The only downside is that when it came it smelled really chemical and weird. It's been a week and it still smells like it. But I'm still giving it 5 stars anyway because I'm pretty sure running it through the wash will get rid of the smell.

So far, so good. It is actually kind of small, but it was pretty much what I was expecting. Probably fits about 2-3 small to medium sized human infants; 4 if you really compact them. It seems pretty sturdy, and I doubt it will fall apart any time soon. I did reinforce the stitching where the shoulder straps meet the top of the bag, because for some reason they only put one row there. But, it only took a couple minutes to add the extra rows, so it's not much of a complaint. Plus, I can't be 100% sure it was even necessary, so I can't detract a star for it or anything. The straps actually latch with buttons on their underside, the buckles only serving to lengthen/shorten the straps in order to close the flap more/less. I just mention that because it's not really apparent from looking at the pictures. The side pockets are just large enough to hold those 1 pound bags of lye.The leather isn't the best quality, but for the price, it's great. The material seems pretty stain resistant as well, barely leaving a trace of even the most damning evidence of foul play. The brown retail tag is medium quality paper, but it was slightly crumpled upon arrival. It was shipped in a plain black plastic bag.

Quality all the way!!! Wow, this pack is better than expected, very well built and real 100% heavy leather accents. Was really impressed by the leather as it is the real deal, something we hardly ever see anymore. The weight and quality of the canvas is impressive, a very tight weave and that little bit of padding on the bottom of the pack helps protect what's inside and helps keep is great shape so it doesn't look like a santa sac when it is loaded. Only caution is to be careful with the accent buckle strap and don't lengthen to the last hole. Because of the quality of the leather, it may come on done. This happened to me in a store but the clerk found it and mailed it back to me (impressive service). Anyway I am going to figure out a way to make the closure strap stay permanently as one piece as they are strictly decorative. Closure is a mega ethic button underneath. The drawstring on this pack actually works very well, it's not a shoelace type but made from canvas as well, is not too slippery and stays where you position it. Super comfy pack to wear. If this one ever wears out, which is highly unlikely given the quality, I will definitely get another one. Hmmm, maybe I will anyway since I have the khaki one now but would love another color too.
