You have recently changed your packaging and I also noticed the syrup is thinner. Why is that?

Accepted Answer

The formula for our mykind Organics Elderberry Immune Syrup was recently updated. We changed the source of whole food vitamin C from Amla Berries to Acerola Cherries, which may have slightly changed the consistency of the syrup.

However, because the product is made from natural ingredients, the smell, taste, and general appearance of the product may vary from batch to batch. (For example, ingredients harvested in the summer months can be very different in color, texture and taste from ingredients that are harvested in the fall.)

This does not affect the quality of the product in any way.

Question 2

Has Tapioca fiber syrup & 4 carbs: does this product spike blood glucose?

Accepted Answer

mykind Organics Elderberry Syrup has zero sugars, and 4g of Carbohydrates (one of the grams coming directly from the Dietary Fiber).

The Carbohydrates in this product are naturally occurring from the ingredients.
 
As with any dietary supplement, we suggest consulting with your healthcare practitioner before using this product, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, anticipate surgery, take medication on a regular basis or are otherwise under medical supervision.

Each Serving of our mykind Organics Elderberry Immune Syrup provides 1.5g (1,500mg) of Organic Sambucus Blend, which consists of Organic Black Elderberry Fruit (Sambucus nigra L.) Extract and Juice Concentrate.

Are there little pieces of “something” in this syrup? Definitely not smooth?

Each Serving of our mykind Organics Elderberry Immune Syrup provides 1.5g (1,500mg) of Organic Sambucus Blend, which consists of Organic Black Elderberry Fruit (Sambucus nigra L.) Extract and Juice Concentrate.

It is common for this product to have "pulp" from the Elderberry juice concentrate. As the label states, we suggest that you shake well before use.
