Read the instructions on the back of the packaging to learn the proper technique of throwing it or watch some YouTube videos that demonstrate how to do so. There's a YouTube instructional video by the inventor of the Orbiter. It will definitely come back to you when thrown properly but you'll most likely have to move or run around a bit to try and catch it as the wind can alter the flight path at times. It's a great alternative to the Aerobie Pro Ring when you don't have someone else to play with and you'll still get a good workout at the same time. My personal best for throw and catch is 8 in a row but I also like to throw it hard which makes it fly further out but then harder to judge the catching location.
