I have a cotton backdrop with a loop through the top for a tube. How does one secure a fabric so the tube rolls up the backdrop?

We taped our backdrop on to it.... works good but just know the pipe is 10ft so if your backdrop is as well 10ft we are finding that the sides can get stuck which has started to damage our backdrop...

Is this product easy to cut to 86"?

We cut ours with a jigsaw with a blade meant to be used on metal. It was pretty easy as long as you have something to hold it steady, or a second person to hold it down and turn it for you.

Do you get a set of 3 rods with this order?

Yes there are 3 metal tubes in the package. They connect together by insertion and then secured with a set screw. You will need a small flat blade screwdriver
