DAP Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk, White, 10.1 Oz (7079818152)

I’ve used DAP Alex Plus for years, and it never disappoints. This caulk is perfect for sealing gaps around windows, doors, baseboards, and trim. It goes on smoothly, tools easily, and cleans up with water—no mess! I love that it’s paintable so you can have what ever color you choose in just 30 minutes, which saves so much time on projects. It goes on smoothly and is very easy to clean up. I kept a paper towel handy and the excess wiped away cleanly, so there was no mess afterward. I use it to seal small gaps and cracks as part of my basic pest-control routine, and it’s been a simple, effective way to tighten things up around the house.

Excellent price for a 40 year caulk. Not really sure if it would hold up for 40 years but it does hold up well. I have used DAP forever and will continue to use it but just wanted to offer a slight warning. I kind of think these might have been sitting around for awhile in a non climate controlled area. Still worked out great but i noticed the vert tine dried pieces mixed in. You don't see them with every squeeze but they are there. I also had a bit of hardened caulk around the plunger. Not a big deal and not worth returning but if you are picky you might want to take a look inside the tube around the plunger. If you see dried caulk, than expect this minor issue. Otherwise its a great product that i will continue to use and recommend.

Great idea, used it on the bathroom tiles. It was bright white and easy to apply, didn’t come off when wet. Would recommend it

Affordable and easy cleanup, can't go wrong. I like that it's affordable and paintable. Always try to have a few of these in the toolbox.

Used to caulk around some light fixtures. I like dap because it’s paintable, a good natural color, and easy to work with. It went right on with no issues. Not a water heavy area caulk, but great for trim work. Will be buying again.
