The lamp is very pretty! I had an issue where the product wasn't working although I followed the directions, so I contacted the company and they quickly addresses the issue and sent me the bulbs I needed. Really appreciated!!! Its a good size, and a very pretty lamp. Not too hot to the touch which I was worried about. Its not blindingly bright, so its soothing to look at. I like it and I'm happy I finally bought a lava lamp :)

I absolutely love this lava lamp, it’s exactly as shown in the images. I got it for my frutiger aero themed room and I think it fits great! The green and blue colors look good, and it’s a rather sturdy, easy to use lamp with a switch. It’s also not blindingly bright!

My son reviewed this: I am an 11 year old writing this, and you should know after you turn ur lava lamp on, the bulb can get very hot after 10 minutes. Lava lamp so far doing really good, and also really nice as a room decoration, probably predicting will last few decades, just note to turn it on use this roller switch.

It was GREAT when I first bought it (in January). But for the last 6 months, the waxy material (lava) hasn't moved at all. I've tried shaking the glass, unplugging it for days, and retrying it. Replaced the light bulb. Nothing works. It's dead. I'm hoping the legendary customer service these folks are reputed to have kicks in, because I'm feeling duped. My last lamp was a brand-name Lava Lamp, and it lasted me well over a decade before the bulb holder broke. I was hoping the Jambo would be a great replacement. I have extra bulbs, but no movement when the thing is on and plugged in. See the photo. Sad. UPDATE: 12/29/25, Jambo sent me a replacement free of charge, and that unit is working beautifully. I also purchased another one because I like the product and appreciate their strong customer support. Companies like that should be rewarded.

I bought this lamp to replace the one from the 80’s we have due to wax degradation from years of use. This lamp is a cheaper build than the old one is, but I knew that when I bought it. However, after it’s assembled and turned on it looks very nice and fancy. My wife loves it, which makes me happy. Cheers!

Bringing them back! Fun jumbo lava lamp. Color as seen in photograph! This item is on the heavier side so it does not tip over. The top can get hot once it is on for a while. It is 16 inches as shown in the picture including the base. The top is glass and the bottom is a very thin steel. Easy to use and set the mood in the room.

The China water inside is totally contaminated and God only knows what’s in there. I did not filter it and I just threw the water down the sewer.. then I put some bottled water in from FL The damn thing didn’t work, so the American water went down the sewer.. make sure when you toss water down the sewer you don’t just pour it all out when the water is hot because you’ll lose all of the special wax inside, so only rinse it out when it’s completely cool and a big lump of wax Now the good part, bought a $300 machine from Amazon that takes out plastic and crap from the tapwater it’s certified and makes really delicious water and has changed my life however I put that water inside the lava lamp just one of them and I couldn’t believe how all the wax comes together into our three huge formations inside and no bunch of grapes or olives just hanging out at the top. The AI helped me discover that every bottle of water that we consume has billions of pieces of nano and micro plastic and even the smaller number after nano which is probably 10 to the -16. So after drinking the plastic-free water for about 30 days, thank you Amazon I have returned to good health. But most importantly2 lava lamps deserve five stars because there’s nothing wrong with the bulb or the quality yeah you have to tighten that little nuttsiedoodle underneath but that’s it I love my lava lamps you just Gotta have brand new water in there with no plastic particles see the plastic floats you can’t see it but it’s in there the wax coalesce and bind with the micro plastics and caused all of the fascinating features of the lava lamp that we used to live as children vanished. We were like who made this lava lamp. Why is it look like a bunch of grapes at the top well it was the plastic in the water. Yes, thank you Amazon and AI for that machine IT Saved me, the waterdrop K19 reverse OS countertop, wonder, It’s the best one it’s makes my cats and everybody here in the house skinny again. Holy Camoli all that plastics coming out. The best part is every day we don’t drink plastic anymore, and the lava lamps lived happily ever after in plastic free water, just like in the garden of Eden. Or like going back in time when your grandmother was pregnant with your mother and inside the safety and security of granny, no plastic LOL

I've had it for 3 months now and no real issues. Two things to note 1) the coloring. To my naked eye it looks less blue & less purple than in their respective provided pictures or even my phones camera. But honestly doesn't matter that much to me. i still think they look great. 2) the USB C ports. They simply don't work. The USB A do. It seems to be a quality control issue as i did contact support who were super helpful to send me a replacement however the replacements port was also defective. For me not a deal breaker at all and my only reason for deducting a single star.
