It will come half inflated, just enough to keep shape. You will need to inflate it to the proper psi when you get it.

Is the ball heavy? I am looking for a ball used for 13 and up that is heavier than a volley lite.

I don’t think it is very heavy, but I don’t really know much about volleyballs.
