Everybody makes mistake because of letters what I think. Check this model supports all but for external use. If you will use internal for laptop check specifications. If there is an extra slot for SSD in your computer then you don't need anything. Just check which type of connector in your computer. This enclosure is good for which laptop has only one hard disk connection which doesnt has any internal connection for SSD.
