Bare Ground BGSG-1 Spray-on Shoe Grip Adhesive Spray for Slippery Surfaces

I've only had 2 shifts since i bought Slip Grip and i am sold! I am a server at a high volume restaurant in Vegas-our uniform requires us to wear Chuck Taylors-not only are these usually uncomfortable but great for a game of Slip n' Slide...every step in the kitchen was carefully placed while truing to move at a restaurant pace. I will absolutely continue to use this product-while they are not 100% slip proof in the kitchen, this spray makes my Chuck Taylor soles feel like Shoes for Crews (which are about as slip proof as you can get in a kitchen). Highly reccomend this product-i live in a desert and so will never know how well it works against ice of snow, I also spend very little time on a boat...nut in my opinion if it is good enough for a kitchen, i think it will work great for the advertised uses. :)

This slip grip was a total waste of my money and I was so very disappointed in it. It never dried on my shoes; in fact it stayed tacky and picked up everything I walked on. I had to throw my shoes away because I ruined the bottoms by spraying this mess on them and my shoes had everything stuck on the bottom; grass, fuzz, etc. I wish I would have never bought and used it.

I think this product would have worked if I didn't go stomping through the grass and dirt. It seemed to keep me from sliding around in the beginning when I still had the glue on my shoes. I work at a veterinary clinic, so I both indoors and out doors. I will say that the glue after it dried for 2 days was still sticky and picked up rocks and a couple of big sticks. I can see where it would keep one from slipping. I do have to say that walking around can be annoying because my shoes made a constant squeaking-crunching sound. After a while I started laughing though. Anyone that is going to try this spray I will warn you ahead of time. Wrap your shoes in some sort of plastic, old shirt, old towel or something. Leave the bottom exposed, obviously. I'd wear gloves and a clothes that you don't mind getting glue on because it can be quite a messy job. You might even rig up something to sit your wrapped up shoes on so that you don't have to wear hold them and end up with glue all over you. Give your shoes a couple of days to dry.

This product is horrible! It sprays a sticky glue mess all over the bottom of your shoes. I let it dry way more than an hour. It ruined the bottom of my shoes and picks up everything you walk on. The sellers do not care and will deduct money from a your return from the shipping label and if they can’t sell it. DO NOT BUY!

Not what I was expecting. I sprayed a layer on the bottoms of my shoes like instructed and let them sit soles up for about 30-40 minutes before wearing them. On the can it literally says only one minute needed. I put them on and thought they were stuck to the ground. It felt like I was ripping them off the ground by the sound and effort it took to do so. It was so obnoxious how sticky they were and so loud when you’d take a step so I took them outside to wear a bit. The stickiness and sound wore off enough to not be obnoxious but that was because it picked up all sorts of garbage on the sidewalks. I wore them to work (I work at a bar) and the soles eventually got cleaned off from occasional wet floors I work on but I still felt some slipping so it basically didn’t do anything except initially glue my shoes to the ground. Was expecting it to just add some grip in some way. So yea, just no.

So this works I was skeptical I need some more adhesion cause I work in oil and grease every day and non slip shoes are not enough this kicks them up a notch easy to apply! I have had to reapply a couple times but honestly not as much as I thought I woukd and I dont see me using up the can before like maybe 5 years or so its great!

Over priced for quantity of product and way not enough adhesion on slippery floors.
