Reliable Warmth for Cold Days I tested these hand warmers on a few chilly early mornings, and they worked exactly as advertised. Once opened, they start heating up within about 10 minutes, and they stay consistently warm for hours. On a long outdoor day, I got close to the full 11 hours of steady heat, which is impressive for single-use packs. They’re slim enough to slip into gloves or pockets without feeling bulky, and I like that they’re odorless—you don’t get that chemical smell that some warmers have. A few things to keep in mind: they need air to activate, so if you bury them too tightly in a mitten or under layers, they may not heat up as strongly. Also, while they’re labeled as “hand warmers,” they work equally well for toes or tucked near the body under a jacket. These are TSA approved, which makes them travel-friendly for winter trips. Bottom line: A reliable, long-lasting heat source that’s perfect for outdoor sports, commuting, or just keeping comfortable on cold days.

The box says "40 pack" when there are only 20 packs of two. Are there 40 warmers, yes. Are there 40 packs, no. Also they give off only a slight warmth and will last maybe an hour or so. Where did they get 11 hours from?? Very low grade product with misleading to outright false advertising. Do not buy this product. While for now it is one of the lower and almost decent priced products, its quality is very poor and does not come close to the asked price.

I’m hoping this review will help others debating on buying these, as opposed too paying much more for the name brand competitor. To start, these work just as good, if not better than Hot Hands. Not only do they last what seems like forever, they literally get so hot, that depending on where I have them, I have to put another layer in between the packet and my skin. After opening each packet, I’ve found they do need a good shaking. Personally, I put one in each hand and shake them both for about 10 seconds, I then set them to the side for a couple minutes, while the air “activates” the ingredients in the packet. Personally, I found that if you immediately put them to use after opening, it takes them much longer to heat up. I guess it’s just preference, but thought I’d pass that info along. Lastly, PLEASE be cautious, especially when giving to kids as these do, eventually get REALLY HOT! Do NOT put the packets directly on your skin! Make sure you have some kind of clothing or layering between you and the packet, to protect your skin. Well, hope that helps anyone who was hesitant on these. There worth every penny!
