Great first set.

Decent quality for the money

The kit only arrived this morning, it looks ok for what I need. I only need it on holiday in our motorhome when parked near the sea, so it will serve my purposes. The case is good, and everything inside it is compact, so great for travelling with me in the camper. The reel handle is not as shown on Amazon i.e. it does not have the wood effect, it is just black, apart from this I am satisfied with it. I will write another review once I have used it and tested out it's capabilities and whether or not anything breaks easily.

Great product. Reasonably priced

Great travel rod. I use it at my caravan. Its lightweight and compact. Easy to assemble and use. I leave it with Lure attached reel on and fully retracted in the pack so when I want to start fishing it's instant (almost). I think it represents great value and it will catch fish!

Chinese so

Obviously a gamble buying a fishing rod off amazon but there were convincing positive reviews. This is a great idea as its so compact and comes in a neat case, but it's cheap in design and not sturdy at all. The hoops have all bent easily and the glue holding several of them in place has failed on first use (see example photo showing one of them). The rod also wouldn't collapse and we spent several frustrated hours getting it back in the case. I will be returning this item on my return from holiday for a full refund and would urge anyone reading this not to waste their hard earned money. Go and buy a decent sea fishing rod from your local angling shop. This is a complete and utter waste of money and will leave you feeling angry at the seller for pushing such rubbish and putting you through the hassle of the return process.

Excellent with very strong line provided. I managed to catch a Great White Shark on my use but unfortanately it bit both my legs off and now my mates call me stumpy! How cruel!

J’ai été très agréablement surpris par la qualité de cet ensemble de pêche Gonex. La canne télescopique de 2,70 m est légère, solide et facile à déployer, ce qui la rend parfaite aussi bien pour les sorties en eau douce qu’en mer. Le moulinet fonctionne en douceur et la ligne fournie tient très bien, même face à de belles prises. Le kit d’accessoires est extrêmement complet : leurres variés, hameçons, émerillons… tout ce qu’il faut pour commencer à pêcher immédiatement. Le sac de transport est un vrai plus : pratique, robuste et parfaitement organisé, il permet d’emporter tout le matériel sans encombre. En résumé, un excellent rapport qualité-prix et un kit très bien pensé. Je recommande vivement ce produit à tous ceux qui cherchent un ensemble fiable et pratique pour leurs sessions de pêche !
