I hoped that it could replace a concrete wall plug and screw in securing a wall mount for a Dyson stick vacuum but it couldn't despite the amount used. I will update this review as I widen the usage in due course.

I purchased this giant pack of Velcro brand industrial-strength because it said it was suitable for outdoors I prepared my surface (vinyl siding) by washing with Dawn dish detergent, rinsing well; going over surface with rubbing alcohol; letting it fully dry before applying the Velcro; gave the Velcro some time to get used to its new home, “cure “ basically just letting it sit by itself for a day, before attaching anything to it. Then I attach my tiny little solar thingamajig, that weighs maybe an eighth of a pound, It held its own for a couple of weeks and then slowly started to pull away, and before completely failing. this little- ( a 2.5” x 2.5” by 3/4” inch plastic solar charger for a small strand of twinkle lights) - I’m hanging barely weighs anything. It’s definitely nowhere near a pound. It’s literally the only reason I bought this giant roll - I generously gave it two stars because, I don’t feel like fighting this morning, and it does stick to itself very well - maybe for hanging something inside - IDK - but I wouldn’t trust it with anything breakable or valuable or sentimental or … ((PS I know that there is/was a really good one out there. I just don’t know who makes it. A friend of mine used industrial-strength Velcro on his motorcycle to attach his cell phone and it worked for years. I assumed it was the original Velcro brand, but maybe not IDK)) Not a secure connection Installation is easy There are no accessories necessary

The velcro sticks very well, but the glue doesn't always hold the strip in the heat. I taped up a strip light in my camper and it has fallen down due to the glue failing multiple times.

We had a roll of the smaller size and when we saw they had a larger width we bought a roll because we found so many uses for the product. All you have to do when trying to figure out how to complete a project is ask yourself, will the velcro possibly do the job? We have used it to hold a gazing ball on a stand in front of our house where we get lots of wind and it was the only product that kept the ball from ending up in the neighbor's yard. The last project was in our garage I have pieces of 4 x 4 wood to keep us from driving our cars too far into the garage and each time we would bump against them they would move so I had to readjust their position about every month. Finally, I thought about the velcro. I cleaned the bottom of the lumber off and the area of concrete where I would position it. I cut a long piece into about 6 smaller pieces and placed two on each end and two in the center. After attaching to the lumber piece, I removed the plastic over the adhesive and positioned the lumber onto the concrete. I stood on it for a minute or two and did not bump the car against it for a day to let it cure. It has been several months now since applying the velcro and the lumber stop has not moved or become loose. Great product, definitely recommended.
