Very good camera and set up, but useless in darker areas or darkness
The mounting options are very good. I also like the 20m cable coming out of the camera that connects to the "brain unit" and allows you to place that unit elsewhere. This camera also has the ability to not just mirror and flip (180 deg) the image, but also do 90 and 270 degrees. The picture in decent light is fantastic and the frame rate is high. However, this camera doesn't have any IR or cutoff features, so it's pretty terrible in darker situations.

This AXIS M2014-E is very good, with great video recording.
I did my due diligence before I bought this camera, by researching on [...] [...] the manufacturer's web site and read a number of reviews and watched various video recordings online before I bought it. AXIS clearly stated in its specification that this camera featured or supported:HDTV resolutionOutdoor ReadyPOE capableProgressive scanMotion detectionTampering AlarmAlarm input\outputSD storage and network storage capabilityAVHS, IP66- rated, which ensures protection against dust and heavy rain.Support for Axis Corridor Format allowing it to deliver a vertical field of view.The video is very good during daytime recording; and good video recording at night if you have VERY GOOD LIGHT in the area. Remember, it was not designed for night recording, unless you have very good light at night, the specification clearly did not state it had IR capability so don't expect that from it. If you want an IR camera then buy an AXIS camera that was designed with IR.This camera setup has two units, first the camera itself, and second another unit which is the main brain of the camera where you will connect an Ethernet cable to, and also slot for the SDHC memory card, This second part with the main brain can feel just a little warm to the touch but this has not in any way coursed any issues for me.If you want a small POE camera with the capabilities listed above, then you better get this now.Shipping was as expected, no issues there at all.I will be buying a few more of these cameras, and also recommended it to my buddy....
