Fabulous hair and scalp treatment. I make it into a loose paste and leave it on in the shower for the time I am in there. It cleans my hair and scalp so well and rinses out easily. It leaves my hair silken shiny with bounce and my scalp comfortably at ease. I no longer need any conditioner but do like to use a tiny bit of centrifugal coconut oil or jojoba oil at the ends and on my baby hairs at the temple area while my hair is still damp. This is better than any shampoo and conditioner I have ever used and I have tried many from high end to drugstore and pricey alternatives and this is by far the best solution. It is so good I prefer to call it a treatment because it exceeds just a standard cleaning and conditioning because it feels truly nurturing and healing. I am so relieved to be chemical free, and with a superior solution, finally.

Noticed a dramatic DECREASE in hairfall after the first wash. I mixed with amla powder and finish with an apple cider vinegar rinse. Hair is soft, clean, dries faster, smells good (earthy) and my hair is not falling out everywhere. I'm super pleased. Looking to add more to my next batch of shampoo I make!

I bought this to mix with Reetha Nut (soap nut) powder as a body wash/shampoo, but unfortunately it was too drying, whether it was alone or mixed with something else. It still might work as a natural cleaner or mixed with henna to make the henna less fiery, so it will still be useful. :-)

I was looking for options for hair growth, but there were so many options that made my hair greasy and was oil based. I decided to make my own water base, leave-in, Concoction. I combined rosemary, fo-ti, green tea, pumpkin seed, red clover, fenugreek, saw palmetto, Alma,Bhringaraj Leaf, Bhringaraj Leaf, Neem Leaf, Shikakai Bark,Tulsi Leaf powders and stored it in this plastic container. When i'm ready to make a bottle to use, i take one scoop and add it to boiling water. And once it's cooled, I strain it with a cheesecloth into this bottle. Once i'm done showering generously, add this to my scalp before drying my hair. I have only used it for 1 week. So far so I am unsure how the results will be, but I am happy to find an alternative to an oily based product. The initial cost of purchasing all the powders is quite a bit, but with the size of this tub, it will last me for quite a bit of time.

Read the instructions before opening the package. Warning: do not inhale or get it in your eyes. After one use, it removed the oils from my hair well and it wasn’t harsh or stripping. This is not to fully replace my wash routines. But I will definitely incorporate it a few times a month. Tip: watch other tutorials on how to use this in your hair. Also, if you can find the whole seeds it is a better option.
