how is the new formula?

the bag states that it is the same great taste but improved formula since this is the first time i have tried this food i can"t say what is different as i have no old bag to compare it to what i can say is that my elderly cat who is very finicky in her food went right to it and seems to really like it i like that it states healthy digestion as she has a sensitive stomach and this food has stayed down for her (no upset stomachs so far) with no artificial flavors or colors i think this is really good food for her & i am pleased with it hope this helps you!

What size are the pellets? Are they bigger, smaller, or the same size as the natural balance premium indoor formula?

I think they might be the same size, they are small bite size. My big tabby eats them by the mouthful.

Is this bag resealable?

No, but I reseal it with a large paperclip. This cat food, "Natural Balance" is the best! My cat loves it.

Does this cat food work in the dark? My cat is blind. Will he be able to eat it?

Sorry to hear about your cat's visual impairment. I would think it will work if the sense of smell is good which I am sure, probably is as a compensating effect. It is very healthy and beats other options. My cats love it.
