We adopted a stray cat that came to our door about 2 years ago around Christmas. He had worms and had been eating who knows what and his stomach and digestion was all out of whack. After many vet visitation get him health and worm free his poor tummy was still upset and his poop smelled awful! It would smell our whole home. You would have to change his whole litter after every poop. I finally switched him to this food because my previous fur boy who passed away was on this food for years and it worked like a charm for his vomiting and sensitive stomach. Within less than a week the digestion issues resolved themselves and this is gonna sound silly but, his poop no longer smells. The quality of the food is great. We also love the Velcro closure on the bag that makes it easy to use and keeps the food fresh. Which is super important when you have a 5 year old helping with animal care chores. If I had to make a complaint I would say that my only complaint is he likes it too much because I know have an overweight 30 pound cat 🤣 even though we only feed him the recommend amount. If I’m being honest this isn’t the foods fault though he is just a super lazy and happy cat. So, lazy that he will let my daughter tote him around like a babydoll and he sleeps with the dog in the dog bed on occasion. Lol

My word it is expensive! I mean it's a lot of money. Wow. Sad really. She likes it and has, seemed to help with vomiting. But my goodness it's not cheap.

I noticed my cat’s whiskers were looking short with curled ends, which means potential vitamin deficiencies. I started giving her a multivitamin paste I found on Amazon, but she was still vomiting multiple times a week and had a scab under her chin with a patch of hair missing around it. I decided to switch from purina pro plan indoor advantage to Hill’s and it’s made a world of difference. Her whiskers are coming in thicker with less curling, she is shedding less, and she has not vomited since we made the switch. Her coat is softer too. This food is not cheap but my cat is worth it. My cat is also a picky eater but she started eating this food immediately. You can tell just by looking at the pellets that the food is high quality, but the true proof of this is the results.

This brand and style was recommended by our cat's new vet on our last visit. He has had issues with chronic vomiting 1-2 times daily since we brought him home from the shelter a few years back. We've run the gamete of trying various cat foods over the years including the highly advertised, mega-expensive freeze dried variety without solving the problem. Within a week the problem has gone from chronic and persistent and to an occasional hair ball from wrestling with our Maine Coon. To top it off, both of our cats absolutely love this food.

Our cat developed food sensitivity for some reason and nothing was working. He threw up every night. All vet tests came back negative. I was really worried nothing will work on our cat. When we switched him to this food he immediately took to it and stopped his regular throw ups completely!

My two main cat Coons have been on this since we brought them home from rescues. It is dramatically helped because they rarely have hairballs or tummy issues. This is the only food they will eat. We also had to transition them to a low calorie one to mix with this, and they weren't happy at first. They've never had problems with hydration, the food is dry, my cats love the taste and I'm so happy they make different versions as your cat grows older or has specialty needs. My cats approve 100%, without any regard to how much it costs 😂

This cat food is incredible. My pop pop (poppy) used to vomit like 3 times a week, including hairballs since the day I got her in November - I tried a few different foods but the winning ticket was in this bag. A combination of a bath and a good grooming and switching over to this food and now I can't remember the last time she's been sick ... weeks at least. She's a sweet happy girl. My only warning: may attract ants since it's real food.

I bought the 1.6kg bag of Hills Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin dry food for my 4 year old medium hair domestic tortoiseshell after she developed some mild dandruff and occasional tummy sensitivity. Within a few weeks her coat looked healthier and the flakiness reduced significantly. Her fur feels softer and she seems more comfortable overall. Digestion has been very consistent too, no loose stools or signs of discomfort since switching. She can be picky with dry food, but she took to this straight away and finishes her bowl every time. I started with the small bag to see how she’d respond, and it went so well I’ve now moved up to the larger 7kg bag. The price was very competitive compared to other retailers, and the long expiry date made buying the bigger bag an easy decision. If you’ve got a cat with mild skin or stomach sensitivities, this has worked really well for us.
