Ohhh Danny...
Man oh man, I was so happy when I heard Danny was finally getting his story told. He’s one character I adored in the That Boy Series. He’s fun, loving, and full of life. This book highlights that side of him even more. You know when you dislike a character with every fiber of your being? Yeh, me too. In this case it’s the evil witch, also known as, Lori. She always left such a bad taste in my mouth. We get the bad, the ugly, and the even uglier side of her in this book. I think the fact that we had someone to dislike, and I mean heavy on the dislike, helps build Danny’s story so much more. I love when a villain comes in and steals the show, and in this case Lori took the cake.We first learned of Jennifer Edwards in That Baby. She is the girl who steals the spotlight when she enters the room. The beauty in all aspects of life. And if you remember, that’s also when Danny and Jennifer initially meet; and guys that was AHfreakinMAYZING!!So fast forward fifteen years and here we are with Danny, the All American handsome QB, and Jennifer, the Girl Next Door Darling Actress. Put these two together and you’ve got yourself a perfect combination. But also add in a sour tasting Lori, and some other madness, and you’re in for a wild ride.I enjoyed the layered dynamics and different characters, they helped build what’s to come. Not only what’s to come, but the story as a whole. It’s not an easy love story. It hits in real life issues and feelings of uncertainty. If you’ve been dying for Danny, today’s the day to get your hands all over him.

Awesome read
I found myself not wanting to put the book down. It was so good. I would recommend this book but not before reading the other 3 first.

another great book in the series!
I can’t seem to put these books down. Dodd definitely knows how to tell a story and knows how to capture the audience with her characters.

Must read!
Words can’t express how excited I was for this book! I have missed all these characters so much. This book was a one sitting read that I devoured. If you haven’t read these books you need to stop what your doing and read them.Danny Diamond is a dreamy pro football player who is very family oriented. He has two kids and wife he thought he would be with forever. Every marriage has rough patches right?Lori was something else and she was really hard to like. She tries to make life miserable for Danny. She has no clue a woman from his past has reappeared and turned his world upside down. He is happy and enjoying spending time with his kids and friends.I could go on and on about this book but I won’t. You need to read this book, well all the books in That Boy series!

Love
I finally got a chance to read That Love. I put off reading the story because I didn't know what to expect but I loved it because Danny was the devoted husband and father to put up with Lori who was a total b*tch to her husband and children. She didn't want the husband but wanted the status his money brought her. Then there is Jennifer and an alcoholic boyfriend who can't stay sober. Danny and Jennifer are brought back together after 14 years and it felt like they were never apart. Their story is a journey of two people who are destined to be together.

An Entertaining Read
That was a real tease with Dori in epilogue of the previous story! Clever. Good cliffhanger ending on this one.

A disappointing book nowhere near as good as first
I loved the first three books and the main characters. They were genuine and entertaining, and the story was great to read. Book 4 is nothing like those books. Danny acts completely out of character and is insecure and unreasonable. Everyone else is completely two-dimensional. Jadyn is the perfect mother, designer, friend etc etc. She gives long-winded annoying, preachy advice to everyone and can do no wrong. Lori is the bad person so she is bad at everything - bad mother, friend, person. People are just not like that, they are complex and interesting. That is life, but that is not what you will find in this book. I did not buy the final book in this series as I suspected it would be the same. It was just too disappointing to spend money on a book with characters and a story that essentially go nowhere.
