This is the best pressure cooker I’ve owned. It’s easy to assemble and clean, and it has significantly reduced my cooking times (although there are stronger pressure cookers available with higher PSI). T-fal is a great brand, and I feel safe using this pressure cooker instead of buying a cheaper, unknown brand. It comes with reliable safety features, which gives me peace of mind while cooking. The capacity is ideal for 2–4 people, and it can work for 6, but you might not have too much leftoves if cooking for +5. If you regularly cook for more than that, you may want to consider a 10-quart or larger option. It’s very versatile: you can steam food, make stews, rice, beans, and more. It also helps lower my electric bill since cooking times are much shorter. You don’t need to keep the stove on high—once it starts whistling, you can reduce the heat to medium or medium-low. I also think the flavor of my dishes is better because you don’t need to cook for hours. It locks in flavor, especially with meat and vegetables. Once you learn the correct cooking times, the meat comes out incredibly tender. The build quality is excellent. The thick bottom distributes heat evenly, and I often use the pot without the lid for delicate dishes like béchamel sauce. It’s harder to burn food compared to regular pots. It works perfectly fine with an induction stove (I have a portable induction stove that helps to lower the electric bill since is much faster than an electric stove). I do use it in my electric stove too when I don't have room on my counters, and occasionally I take it to a friend's house where they have a gas stove and I never burnt any food with it. Gas stoves heat wat faster and if you use a higher setting the flames might reach the sides of the pot; but zero issues with this pressure cooker, the bottom is thick and the heat distribution does it's job. Overall, unless you need higher pressure or a larger capacity, I would definitely buy this pressure cooker.

We were looking for a rice cooker on Amazon, but found this nice pressure cooker. We decided a pressure cooker can do multiple batches of foods and make cooking easier for us. The beef stew meat comes out tender and melting in your mouth. Easy to clean stainless steel cookery. The 6.3 quart size allows us to make a lot at one time and store the leftovers for meals throughout the week. Granted, you could buy a slow cooker or an instan-Pot to do the same things as a pressure cooker. But there are benefits to owning more than one appliance to get your cooking needs met. I recommend this pressure cooker for quality, size, and it's easy to use and clean after you're done. This comes with a recipe book and a steam basket.

I've enjoyed this particular pressure cooker for over 30 years, so this is my new version of the same- EXCELLENT. It's safe, with the big buttons to open the upper lid, washes well in the dishwasher, and helps me make 1 portion of home made rice, with steamed vegies, and chicken curry in 20 min- using the inside steamer basket. The recipe book is full of good ideas I've enjoyed. This pressure cooker brand is the one used throughout Europe, where this is THE tool ( vs microwaving) used for 60+ years by households that value juicy food and safe functions.

Purchased for my mother as a replacement for her aging pressure cooker which was losing its effectiveness. She had trouble assembling the unit but I was able to walk her through it with pictures she sent of the instruction manual. Instructions were thorough and the unit breaks down for cleaning. She has used it several times and is pleased with its performance.

Es una excelente olla a presión, es de acero inoxidable, es hecha en China PERO, eso no delimita su calidad, el producto es de Tfal, los materiales son de primera calidad, cuenta con una certificación UL, y cómo ingeniero, les digo que esa certificaciones las emite EU a productos que únicamente pasan unas pruebas muy rigurosas y específicas, o sea que me da bastante confianza, funciona para estufa de inducción o gas, el sistema de cierre y apertura es muy empírico y seguro, muy recomendable. También incluye una tipo vaporera para hacer verduras al vapor o algo así. Si recomiendo.

An amazingly simple design, made strong and with reliable function! Pretty much a hassle free product that you could conscientiously recommend to anyone! Makes cooking so much faster and more thorough, while keeping the flavours in. Miraculously tenderises meats, and cooks soybeans in a snap. Easy to use, easy to clean, works like a charm.
