This may sound a bit petty to some people that read this, but waffle, I was dropped at my door. The person rang the bell which I appreciate, but the box was not wrapped or put it into a box or even a plastic bag. I thought to myself, I don’t want neighbors to see you know what I’m ordering. They’re sitting outside my door, so I wasn’t happy about that. They put all the labels on the original box that the waffle line was in and I hate those labels so I wanted to get them off which was a pain in the neck so for what it’s worth that’s my two cents about the delivery , but the item is self look very nice. I have a news it yet I plan to so but the Delivery side business was irritating. Sorry!

Terrible. Horrible. No good. Wish I never bought this. I've had waffle makers and panini presses in the past. Loved them. Christmas morning we attempted to make waffles. Absolute disappointment. This appliance holds very little batter so we were expecting fairly thin and puny waffles. There's no way to tell when the waffling is complete so that's more or less a guessing game. (It does light up when 'hot enough' though). The exterior never gets 'crisp'. Never. We made several attmpts, extending our wait time considerably in the end. They all came out pale and limp. The heating element and press plates combine to create very uneven cooking. The waffles were also all lopsided and tapered at one side. We had to toast the 'best' of them for anything resembling a waffle. We tried a panini next. Given the very shallow cooking space we made sure not to overfill the sandwiches. The bread was moist-ish and limp when it came out but the meat was warm on the inside. Weird. Unsatisfying. The edges of the bread were oddly hard and had an unpleasant texture. Another failure. Attempted waffles again, thinking perhaps it's operator error. I spent the day slow cooking a pork roast for 'pulled pork atop a potato waffle, sided with a nice crisp cabbage slaw.' Everything was ready. Just needed waffles. Let them cook for an extended period of time...mentally prepared for a 'burnt' waffle, thinking I'd just reduce the time on the next round. Nope. That didn't work. The waffles didnt set at all. Started to char on the top and bottom, where there was direct contact with the plates and remained gooey in the middle. Pulling apart when I opened the machine. After eating my pulled pork atop sour dough toast instead, I sadly began the grueling process of cleaning the machine. That's another problem. Cleaning. The plates kind of lock into place but with plenty of gapping space so regardless of how careful you are there is always a ton of batter that makes it under the plates into the chamber where the heating element is. And the hinge also manages to get batter in it some how. So, there I stood, disappointed that my all day slow-cooked dinner was 'ruined' (it was still delicious just disappointing) with little cleaning brushes and wipes and a sponge...gentle and carefully excavating crisped potato waffle from the nether regions of the machine when my partner took mercy on me and suggested we just throw the monster in the trash. Please don't buy this for yourself. Please don't buy this as a gift.... ...unless you hate the person and wish to fill their life with disappointment.

Ok so when you look at the picture they use to advertise, warning ! They must be using mini slices of bread to make it look like a decent amount of space to press a loaded sandwhich. IT IS NOT , you will have sepiage or overflow of melted mess to clean up. They show a metal spatula scraping an egg off the surface. If you have not seen the movie dark waters , know that you really should not eat off teflon , much less scraped teflon. I have it 3 stars because it will toast a hotdog bun sandwhich perfect.

Empezó muy bien calentando a todo. 3 meses después la mitad de la plancha ya no calentaba. Me fui mejor por una Breville

Very good product. only two improvements needed 1. Heat shield for the top cover 2. The control knob is slipping while turning. Rough surface knob must be used
