Make sure to use a strap wrench to install.
It is just what we needed for our stall shower. It looks nice and it's very functional. You do have to use a smaller shower head, but this wasn't a problem for us. The directions say to use a cloth to cover the arm when installing it so to not scratch it. I did this and I still ended up scratching it. I used some metal HVAC tape to cover the scratches so it's not too bad. I agree with another reviewer that they should have just made 2 flat sections on the upper arm so you could use an adjustable wrench. Need to talk to the design engineers on this one. A strap wrench would also work, but the directions didn't mention this and, I didn't feel like buying one of those just to install this thing. Great finished product, I would recommend a strap wrench for the install.

For the price it is FANTASTIC!! I read up and put a lightweight ...
After searching many stores looking for a shower extension more angled down I came across this on Amazon. For the price it is FANTASTIC!! I read up and put a lightweight shower head on and this arm stays perfectly in place. Great build quality, easy to install, no leaks. What more can you ask for?

Limp, not flexible
This is not capable of holding up our shower head. It just droops. We used it with a WaterPik shower head that is not that heavy. It's useless. I don't know if people who were satisfied had very small shower heads or some of us got a bad batch. It didn't come with the promised plumber's tape, either.

Easy install with basic plumbing skills
Stronger than expected. Easy install with basic plumbing skills.Restricts water flow way too much. Necks are not supposed to do this it. Water flow is supposed to be restricted at the shower head.Leaks.We could not use ours because it did not allow enough water flow to run our shower head and it leaked on the shower dry wall. Ut eas not the connection, but the product that leaked.Great idea. Was just what we wanted. Too bad companies only care about money first and quality second.If you really want one, I would recommend trying it. You may get one that is not defective.

Does a good job of saving water, sort of like a mini-pressure washer for the shower. Does not fit all shower heads.
My shower head does not fit on this, due to my shower head having its own insert for water conservation (basically take less water and shoot it out with high enough pressure). However this arm has its own ability to conserve water. Just using this arm (and no shower head), with my water turned less than half on, I got enough pressure out to easily rinse the soap out of my hair. Used without a head, it is also good for rinsing teeth.I like the flexibility.

Will not hold a Speakman S-2252 up without sagging
Arrived on time, easy to install.Unfortunately it is not strong enough to hold my Speakman S-2252 shower head above its center mass with the water off, and the added pressure of the water causes it to sag even more.Will end up getting an s neck, 3 stars because the S-2252 is a heavy shower head. Would probably work fine with the plasticy heads most people have (Delta, Moen, etc).
